Thankful Thursday

We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Rosie is thankful for her guard octopus.  She likes to rest under it.

We are joining the poetry day named after Teddy’s angel brother Sammy ‘s Poetry Day. Here is the photo prompt provided.

How does that hussy always win?

I’d like to slip her a Mickey Finn.*

The next time she goes up to claim Bingo
I hope she at least stubs her toe.
* For you young’uns out there , a Mickey Finn is basically a roofie.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. If my life could have a rewind or pause button, I would choose ______________.
2. I think a reality show about __________________would be interesting.
3. If my life had a soundtrack, it would include _________.
4. My personal style could best be described as _________.

  3. Watch any old black-and-white cop movie of TV show, and you’ll hear ‘Mickey Finn’ often enough!
‘Round here, we watch old Western TV shows; Have Gun Will Travel, Laramie, Cheyenne, Maverick, Wanted: Dead or Alive, The Rifleman.
As a kid, I watched: The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., Wild Wild West, Here Come The Brides, Grizzly Adams, and Star Trek, which the creator, Gene Roddenberry, called “a Western in space”. (
