We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful that I got to spend time with my 95-year-old friend, Ruth.  Back in 2018 when Prancie’s book came out I asked her to review it in her cat’s column in the local newspaper. She asked me to meet her for lunch and we have been friends ever since. She has slowed down a bit and stopped driving 6 months ago so I brought lunch over and we played cribbage (we each won one game).

Joanie is happy to get her Gremmie back from Emmy.

Emmy was happy to play the nurse for Typhoid Mary.

Funny story:  Emmy spit out some of her meds and I said, “Emmy you are a naughty girl.”   So Typhoid Mary asked, “Auntie, is Emmy a boy?”. I told her no and she asked why I told Emmy she was not a girl. 🙂

We are joining the poetry day named after Teddy’s angel brother Sammy ‘s Poetry Day. Here is the adorable photo prompt provided.

 

Wearing mommy’s shoes is fun,

but please don’t try to run. 
Someday you will prefer a nice flat 
instead of worrying about going splat.
