Thankful Thursday

We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Sammy is thankful that he gets to help me teach a craft class at Cat Scouts every month. I am thankful that my niece and family are feeling better.

We are joining the poetry day named after Teddy’s angel brother Sammy ‘s Poetry Day. Here is the photo prompt provided:

Sorry for the drama,

but you’re not the mama.
We can try again next year
Maybe then we won’t shed a tear.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. My biggest pet peeve at Christmastime is ________________________.
2. _________________ is on my list to Santa.
3. My Christmas to-do list still includes _________.
4. A random piece of Christmas trivia that I know is _________.

  1. HA! I bet those two would NOT be screaming if they were in their Mama’s lap……cute poem. Craft class at Scouts was FABULOUS. Your Mom is a GREAT teacher!

    Hugs, Teddy

  2. Truly good to learn that the family is better and going to be well. XX

    Sammy, you adorable boy!

  3. Glad your family is feeling better. Sammy, you’re such a good boy, helping your Mom with craft classes. Cute poem!

  4. Oh my! I can completely relate to that Santa photo! Your poem is perfectly paired. I hope you and yours are having a blessed holiday season.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 I hope you and your family have a blessed holiday season too. XO

  5. Sammy,
We wish our Human was as gracious about sharing craft time as yours is. The last time we helped with card making we left a trail of beautiful glitter on the floor and all over our fur. We were quite stunning and still can’t figure out what all the yelling was about!

  6. So good to hear that the family is healing well. Mom says she has very similar photos of her and her brother on Santa’s lap:) And yes, they are crying too.

  7. I am glad the family are all recovering well.
Cute poem. Santa can be very scary when you are small. Maybe he comes at night while you sleep so as not to scare the little ones.

  8. I love the picture – none of my 4 kids were interested in talking to a stranger in a bizarre red suit. There was no way they were going anywhere near sitting on his lap. I kind of see it as a parenting win – they felt empowered to say NO to weird strangers!
