Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Emmy is thankful that Brody likes being near her, but she wishes he didn’t always pick the hottest days to do that.

We are joining  poetry day named after Teddy’s angel brother Sammy ‘s Poetry Day. Here is the photo prompt provided:

Some people live for the thrill, 

looking at this just gives me a chill. 
That is not part of my scheme, 
I’ll be having cocoa with whipped cream.

  1. Emmy and Brody look cute together, even though the day is warm! Good poem and I’m with you on the winter sports, no way I’d be on the ski slopes, lol. XO

  3. Since I value my lower appendages I don’t ski, and certainly not like that! I did it twice on the ‘bunny hill’ and almost broke my ankle…so I stuck to cross country.

    Emmy and Brody seem to have a thing going:)

  7. Oh, I’m sure deep down inside Emmy is really enjoying Brody’s closeness regardless of the temperature! Dad says yeah, there’s no way he’s that much of an adrenaline junkie. Me neither.

  11. The cocoa does sound more exciting to me, i tried to ski once and have no plans to try again.

    It’s good to see that Emmy and Brody are friends, everyone needs someone.

    I love skiing, but not that kind of skiing, still it is a beautiful thing to watch with a nice cup of hot chocolate safe in the lodge.

  23. Last night Mudpie insisted on cuddling in bed even though it was very warm, and she hates the fan blowing on her so I turned it off. Luckily we didn’t both melt!

  24. I agree about the snuggles when it’s hot. Every time I find a nice cool spot under the fan, Oliver has to come and horn in on my spot and squeeze his furry, hot self right next to me!
