Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone!  We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop .

I know I write about my Sammy a lot, but I am very thankful for him. He is ALWAYS by my side ( or on my head at night). It is nice to be worshipped.  🙂

We are also joining  Sammy’s Poetry Day. Here is my poem to go with this photo prompt provided by Teddy’s mom:

You may ask, is my neighbor an Eskimo?

The answer to that is a great big no.
You may ask , is he a bit odd?
To that I would say yes and nod.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.  The linky stays open until Wednesday night.

  1. That is a fun poem for that weird photo. Eric used to sleep across the top of my head.

  2. Oh what a perfect poem for this photo. WELL DONE……an odd neighbor in an igloo???? I hope we never get one like that !!!!! Sammy is certainly a “heart kitty”……Angel Sammy was too for my Mom and I’m trying my best to live up to that legacy.

    Hugs, Teddy

  4. Charlee: “Our Dada says he would be willing to try living in that house.”
Chaplin: “Of course, Mama says that, based on the places he liked when they were looking at houses, he’s got kind of weird taste in houses.”

  6. It’s always wonderful when cats snuggle up to us, because we can’t force them.
Enjoy your snuggle time, and give Sammy an extra hug from us.

  7. Sammy looks like he could be a very special boy. And we really enjoyed your poem. Nice take on that photo

  8. Bridget sits on the couch above my head when I take time to relax and read. Cat above and dog below. I’m sure she thinks that’s exactly how it should be!

  9. I had a cat like Sammy. Followed me everywhere and slept with me each night. Best cat ever.
