Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone!  We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful for a new printer that was only $34.  Once I set it up, I realized why it was so cheap- it isn’t wireless. No big deal though, I just can’t be as lazy as I usually am.

I am thankful that I am almost done Christmas shopping. I have been getting a little done at a time. I can’t wait to see The Great One and her little sister open their gifts. I am putting Amazon links to the gifts below in case you need ideas. As you know, I am an Amazon Associate so I get a small commission on anything you purchase through my link. No pressure, but thank you to all who do.

Sorry, I skipped the poem again.

And I know you come here to see photos of my cats so here is Emmy with her “collection”-she is sticking her tongue out at me for teasing her about her hoarding.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. My human hasn’t even started Christmas shopping yet! But then, she only has one or two people to buy for, since she doesn’t have family.

  2. Christmas is always fun when there are little kids involved……they get so excited about things and it just makes everyone have more fun I think. We’ll be two old folks enjoying Christmas with our cat this year (!) but we still love the holiday even if it’s just us. See you tomorrow for fill-ins!

    Hugs, Pam and Ted too

  3. Emmy is too funny with her stash of toys♥ I can imagine, I know, how happy it will make you to see The Great One and her little sister open their presents. I won’t have Christmas presents to buy, I think we have given ourselves enough this year. The nieces and nephews will get gift cards or cash. Good Morning!

    1. Emmy does love her toys. The best part of Christmas is seeing the kids with their toys- and the cats too. 🙂 XO

  4. Our peeps have their Christmas shopping done and they are thankful for that. Emmy, that’s super cute sweetie! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

  5. I am always impressed with folks who get their shopping done early. I LOVE the Operation game, didn’t know they still made it, what fun!

  6. Way to go on almost having all your Christmas shopping done. We don’t do much here so it’s not a big deal.

I’m all ready for the Friendly Fill-ins.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday, Ellen. Scritches to the kitties. ♥

  7. I’ve Christmas shopping almost done too. However, I used to be done when I worked at a department store but now I do what I can. That’s what I’m thankful for.

  9. Ellen,

You’re almost done with your Christmas shopping? WOW, I haven’t started or really thought about it much. It’s gonna be such a strange year. I hope things reset in the coming new year. I’m more than ready for COVID’s threat to be far behind us. I lifted tomorrow’s fill-ins. Thanks, my friend!

  10. We are blessed, everyone on my list wants either the same as they got last year, or cash. Makes life easy until and unless we ever get any grandchildren or other new members of the family.

Love your picture of Emmy, she really does want her toys left alone, doesn’t she.

  11. Mew mew mew Emmy yore so cute givin Miss Ellen a razzberry…yore not hoardin; you just have lotss of toyss like mee rite???

  12. My printer is wireless, but it won’t connect to the laptop, so I have to use a wire anyhow!
Sweetie doesn’t hoard toys, but she drops them down between the bed and her windowsill; I fetch them all out when I remember to.

  13. TW bought me something already and the peeps prolly won’t exchange gifts since Pop is now unemployed. TW is so up in the air she’s not sure about Secret Paws even though she has lots of prezzies put aside.

  14. Christmas shopping?? Not here yet either…mostly I find some silly thing and add a gift card to it. Then they can’t grumble about getting the wrong thing, or something they didn’t like, etc.

Saves a ton of time!! I can use lots of time…

For the hooligans?? Not sure yet…will have to think about it. Maybe some new stuffies for them to rip up…Hahah!

Emmy sure looks like she knows her ‘inventory’!

  15. Early shopping is smart! I used to do that when my kids were young. Now we have small exchanges amongst just a few people, so there’s no real need. And with this pandemic, we might not be getting together, so it might come down to just shipping a little something to my girls and their boyfriends. We shall see.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 We won’t have a gathering, but I will at some point see my great nieces. XO
