Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you.

  1. Aww, those are sweet pics of Angels Lucy and Phoebe.

    1. I like being alone sometimes to gather my thoughts together and my wits.
    2. I don’t want to do all the chores around here, but I have to…at least until hubby is back to good health and strength.
    3. I’m counting down the days until I can take some days out of my work schedule, to work less hours…since I now will be getting Soc.Sec…though I wouldn’t want to live on that pittance!!
    4. My vacation time this November is a lot like being at my job…but at least I know what to do for hubby!

Thanks, BTW for the card for Pipo, and for all the prayers for hubby.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. Sorry you can’t enjoy your vacation, but at least your hubby is in good hands with you. Glad the card arrived. XO

  2. My human is the opposite – she would much rather prefer being too hot. She is not a fan of the cold. Which basically means you are living in the best place for you, and she is living in the best place for her!

  3. Those are some good fill-ins! The Human says we prolly won’t do them till Caturday–I told her that was okay as long as she doesn’t mean some Caturday in like February! We were reading your Thankful Thursday about the printer–we has a theory, They make the printers real cheap, almost nuffing sometimes! But then…..well, if you want some ink, that’ll be $799.99 please! Oh–you want a COLOR cartridge? Make that an even $1500!

  4. I prefer the cold too. It is much easier to wrap up to keep warm than it is to cool down.
We cancelled our Christmas break this year. Since Eric and Flynn left us we go to an all inclusive holiday break at a hotel where we have made good friends. It is too risky to go this year and I wouldn’t feel safe.

  5. 1. I like being ____able to go out in the garden during this lockdown!_________________________.
    2. I don’t want to __lockdown every day________________, but I have to.
    3. I’m counting down the days until __I can hug all my friends_______.
    4. _But being in lockdown________ is a lot like ___snoozing all day long!______.

  6. Holidays won’t be the same for quite a while I think. We’ll have our turkey dinner at Thanksgiving by ourselves and Christmas is USUALLY just the two of us anyway so we’ll just carry on. Staying safe is a priority and I just wish it was EVERYONE’s priority – if it was, we wouldn’t be in this horrible situation!! Love the Indian Angels!

    Hugs, Pam

  7. 1. I like being able to do my big housecleaning each Saturday and then, watching my Westerns.
    2. I don’t want to get out of my routine with housecleaning, but right now, I must.
    3. I’m counting down the days to having some of my activities going again. Miss them.
    4. Adversity is a lot like strength training.

  8. Meowser Ms Ellen, why in the world do you act like covid is reason to change plans?!? The fake-news media is keeping it on life support, but mom’s sources claim it ended last April. Fake news wants the power to control thoughts/actions… I will not allow my family to give that to them.
Would you react the same way for the flu or common cold? I ask because they are in the same virus family… You don’t want to get ill, simply take vitamin D and zinc to fend off the virus … black elderberry is super good for defense, too.

    1. My hubby is a germ phobe so I would act that way for the flu. Plus my mom is elderly so I need to be careful. XO

  9. Yes it’s going to seem strange this year with no gatherings for Christmas, but we just have to keep telling ourselves that next year will be better. Adorable photos:) Hope you have a great day.

  10. I love Black List too. What a great show. Aw on your two angel Indians. Adorable.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  11. Isn’t it a shame that what I would consider honoring a culture is now ‘appropriation’? ~sigh~ What sweet kitties wearing their finery. 🙂 We’ve been invited to a surprise anniversary party across the state and think it’s best that we pass, so I feel for you. ~hugs~ I’m with you on being hot. Ugh… Today is chilly but sunny, perfect for a walk in the park! Be well, my dears.

    1. It is. Thank you. 🙂 It is hard to say no to gatherings, but if everyone did this would slow down. XO

  12. I’m sorry you have to cancel your annual party. It really seems like the COVID numbers are worse then ever. We watch The Blacklist too. I’m not sure I will get to watch tonight but my DVR is set to record 🙂 Have a great weekend!

    1. Yes, I don’t want to be responsible for anyone getting sick. Have a nice weekend too! XO

  13. Good answers Ellen, and I agree about staying cautious regarding this novel virus. Our local hospital and those in our state are close to overwhelmed. Those are cute pictures of Angel Lucy and Angel Phoebe. XO

  14. I prefer the cold too so I have no idea what I am doing in southwest Florida. I think it was SSNS turn to pick the place to live… Ha! So nice to see Angel Phoebe and Angel Lucy! Here are my Fill-Ins~
    1. I like being a lover of cats.
    2. I don’t want to purchase a treadmill, but I have to. Too hot in Florida to walk outside..
    3. I’m counting down the days until Thanksgiving. But I don’t want it to get here too fast.
    4. Watching a hurricane coming your way is a lot like watching a super scary movie.
    Hugs and scritches!

    1. Thanks for these great answers. A treadmill is a good idea in the heat. Sorry you have to deal with hurricanes. Have a nice weekend. XO

  15. I 100% agree with #1. As we say in Dixie…we can always put on more clothes when it is cold.
    Hugs Cecilia

  16. Those are such cute flashbacks and Wow it is time for The Blacklist? Cool! Our favorite. Good Fill ins but they sure have a 2020 feel. When will all this end

  17. We are all sad enough about Thanksgiving and haven’t even begun to fret about Christmas – or are we just kidding ourselves?

Mom and Dad are excited for The Blacklist too and just hope they remember how the finale ended last season:)

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  18. Great fill in answers. I love the photos always and we have to all stay healthy. We have always taken our vitamins and sure won’t stop now. I pay zero attention to anything mainstream media. The days of good news is gone forever, I don’t even watch the weather report anymore.
Hoping your weekend is great and you take care and keep healthy and happy.

  19. I always enjoy your answers! As sad as it is, we might not get together with anyone either for Christmas. Better safe than sorry.

  20. AHOW! ‘angelss’ Lucy an Phoebe made grate Native American Kittiess!
No offence taken here Miss Ellen…
**purrss** BellaDharma an ((huggiess)) LadyMew too

Pee S: Ahow meenss A-OK or ‘rite on’ looselee translated…. 😉

  21. Fantastic fill-ins, as always! I know what you mean with #1, and my mom is also the same way. She always points out that you can put on more layers if you’re cold in the winter, but you can’t just up and walk around naked if you’re hot in the summer. And your #4 is absolutely true! Purrs to all of you!

  22. Ellen,

I hear you on keeping social distancing going. It really cuts into one’s plans but it’s better than getting sick or even making someone sick. Some people are not symptomatic and may just be a carrier. I think once the vaccine is in place. That will help. The only thing I’d be concerned about is will it be like a flu shot which may or may not protect a person because they didn’t get the right strain. I believe things will continue to get better. That being said, I’m sure MSM will once again keep the panic stirred once the election mews is behind us. Your little Indian kitties are adorable! Did you notice I said Indians? I’ve noticed Native Americans refer to themselves as that Indians. They aren’t offended by the word usage, in fact, they seem proud to be Indians and rightfully should. Political correctness is just a means to ruffle feathers, no pun intended, and to keep the racial divide stirred. You can’t legislate or relabel someone to make hate disappear. The heart has to change in order for hate to vanish. I wish others would see it for what it is. Okay, nuff said on the matter. Thanks for hosting the fill-ins fun, my friend.
