Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Millie is thankful for his Dad’s lap. I managed to get this shot yesterday without waking either of them.
We are also joining Sammy’s Poetry Day. Here is my poem to go with this photo prompt..
I guess we can blame global warming,
last night is sure was storming.
We sure got a lot of snow,
now it is 70 degrees so I will go with the flow.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. I have been ______________________ for ____________________.
2. Have you __________________?
3. I always _________ this time of year.
4. The world could use more _________.
Angel got snow, too…. But he swears it is still cold-cold.

It is cold here too, but I am not complaining 🙂 XO
Millie looks mighty comfy in daddy’s lap!
We like that poem and laughed at the guy shovelling in his housecoat!
Purrs,Georgia and Julie
Thank you 🙂 XO
YIKES on the snow – we knew you all would be getting a PILE of it up there – hope you didn’t lose any power and stayed comfy and cozy like The Dad and Millie did! I’m sure there will be some snow clearing up there today but make sure Dad doesn’t go out in his robe!!!!
Hugs, Teddy
We only had a few flakes that didn’t stick. I just wrote that for the poem 🙂 XO
MY gosh, believe it or not…this is true as the sun rose this morning! When mom was out in the park walking yesterday morning, there was a man in heavy coat with a hood over his head, MOWING grass on a riding lawn mower, OVER the snow.
That is funny 🙂 XO
You have snow?? I’m kinda jealous! I am with you on the poem… I think that after the storm it warmed up enough to get out there and get it done in a robe!!!!
NO, that was just part of the poem. I saw some flakes, but nothing stuck here. XO
That is a sweet photo of Millie and Dad.
Thank you 🙂 XO
We love that photo! Yikes on the snow!
The Florida Furkids

Aw, this is such a precious photo of Millie and his dad. These kinds of candid shots are the most priceless. And, as always, your poem had me smiling and laughing!

When The PO’M climbs into my lap while I’m reading a book, I simply use him as a book stand! Looks like Millie was ‘helping’ read the newspaper too.
He was until they both fell asleep 🙂
Awww Millie and her dad napping together are sooo sweet 🙂

We feel ya on da global warming. Yesterday it was in da 50’s which is nuts for da south dis time of year and by next week we will be back to da mid to high 70’s. Mama wishes it would pick a season and stick wif it cause her barometric migraines are not very happy with da bee bopping around.
xoxo,
Matilda & Matt
Thank you 🙂 We do have odd weather a lot. XO
that’s a sweet shot
Thank you 🙂
Awww, that is such a precious photo! Lawn guy sure does look like he is just doing what needs doing.
Thank you 🙂
I have a feeling neither of them moved for awhile!
They were there for hours 🙂
Ellen, the photo of David and Millie is priceless. Men and their cats always make me smile. Maybe that’s what happened to this shoveling guy. Warm weather followed by snow, so all his winter clothes were put away from summer. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Thank you. XO
Snooze buddies!
They are 🙂
I definitely love how beautiful snow is, but Asami and I are sort of wimps when it comes to cold weather, so you’ll often find us lounging in front of the space heater this time of year 🙂
Millie & Dad look so cute and comfy together!
I love the snow, but I prefer it from inside too 🙂
Dads are the best to nap with! So says Luke. 🙂
That is sweet 🙂
That is such a sweet photo of your hubby and Millie xo
