Ten Things of Thankful

Hi everyone! We are joining Athena’s Caturday Art and Ten Things of Thankful Blog Hops.

Our art today is a puzzle of Emmy. I love doing online puzzles from Colehaus Cats , Basil and One Spoiled Cat so I decided to make one of Emmy. When you got to the page, it is labeled Phoebe because I made one of her last year. Emmy is wearing a Dr. Seuss hat in anticipation of Dr. Seuss Day. Tomorrow she will announce a giveaway to celebrate.

It took me 22 minutes and 51 seconds, I guarantee you that you can beat that.

Here are my thankfuls-

  1. Tallulah’s ultrasound on her heart was good. She can now have her dental which she needs because she has tooth resorption.
  2. Online puzzles- they are so fun.
  3. Toys-I love playing with the great one and her fun toys.
  4. Some nice days that felt like Spring.
  5. Allegra and Benadryl-especially helpful when I have something with MSG.
  6. The Olympics are almost over- new tv shows next week.
  7. Coffee with a friend.
  8. 8 A walk with the hubby.
  9. My shopping trip planned for today with my family.
  10. Didn’t read much this week, but I got lots of crocheting done.

  1. Oh, Tallulah – how I can relate to that!!! Good thing is, it’s very scary but you will feel so much better afterward. Well, a few days afterward. – Toby

  2. Great thanksfuls – we love doing jigsaws too! We’ll be back to do this one of Emmy……working this morning on trip to Egypt at Scouts!!!

    Love, Teddy

  3. That is such good news about Tallulah. Hope her dental goes well. One of Mom’s favorite things to do is a jigsaw puzzle. Going right over to do this one. Have a great day.

  4. What a purrfect Cat in the Hat you are, Emmy! And what wonderful Thankfuls, as always. I am so glad Tallulah’s ultrasound went well. Purrs and prayers for the dental!

  5. Never been good at jigsaw puzzles. My patience abounds in other areas though. So happy to hear about Talulah. YAY! Don’t watch much TV so I don’t pay attention to what’s on.
    Have a great weekend!

  6. What great news on your baby. Now to fixing those teeth. Makes them feel much better with good teeth.

You’ve much to be thankful for. Enjoy your shopping today. ♥

  7. Adorable picture! Have fun shopping, my dear, and I like the fact you thought of Jenga, too, on my blog post. I’m telling you, great minds think alike. ~grin~ And I’ve never played the game, just seen it in commercials. Be well!

  8. All wonderful reasons to be thankful. Mom says it is so easy to find the many reasons to give thanks if peeps would just pause and take the time to reflect.

She also loves puzzles – we have one sprawled all over the kitchen table right now. We are being warned not to decide to taste any of the pieces.

  9. Glad to hear that Talluah is fine to have her dental surgery. Crossing paws for her…see… We love the Seuss hat on your head, Emmy, you look cute. Great things to be thankfull for too❤Pawkisses for a Happy Caturday??

  10. Number 6…simpatico, baby! Didn’t crochet this week, but finished lots of appliqué on a quilt project. Where we differed, not a single sign of spring here. Days of ice instead, but I kind of like that.

  11. I check labels to make sure there isn’t any MSG, and always look for signs in restaurants that say no MSG is used in their meal preparations.

The Olympics are fun to watch, fun to see all the things that are so impossible for me to do. Such amazing talent that represents so many hours of practice.

I welcomed seeing some blue sky amidst the storming weather we had this week.

  13. I too, will be happy when the new TV shoes come back. I’m a crocheter, too. What are you working on? I mostly work on simple projects like scarves and hats. I did make a dress once for my granddaughter as well as a mermaid outfit. I can see how you could get lost in time while creating online. Glad the cats are doing well.

    1. I mostly make cat toys 🙂 The mermaid outfit must have been adorable. I love looking up patterns on Ravelry.

  14. I love Emmy’s rendition of Dr. Seuss “Cat in the Hat”! You make such cute things! 🙂 I was happy to hear that Tallulah’s ultrasound was good too.

I have done online puzzle in the past and it’s fun! Also, easier because you don’t have a problem with furkids trying to “assist” in moving the pieces about! LOL
Playing with “The Great One” is the best medicine for the soul, happy times shared are so good for both of you!

I am glad that you are experiencing some nice warmer days, we are too and it sure makes me smile! I will be back to grumbling when the heat begins. 🙂
I never go anywhere without Benedryl and Allegra in my purse, they are lifesavers for people with a host of allergies to food and airborne things!

I enjoyed watching some of the Olympics, like skiing and skating, but I am not a fan of team sports. The opening and closing ceremonies were nicely done.

Time with a friend is a treat, as is a walk with the hubby. Time spent in the company of those we love works wonders for recharging our batteries! I hope you had a good shopping trip too.

I love your crochet projects and I wish I got nearly as much done as you do. I enjoy it a lot, and especially all the beautiful yarns available now, but I don’t often sit still long enough, and when I do my phone seems to be stuck to my hand. LOL (A bad habit I need to work on) Are you working on anything big, or mostly smaller things? I have an afghan for Papa Bear slowly in progress, but I enjoy making wreaths and smaller things that go quickly too!

I hope this turns out to be a wonderful week for you, thank you again for your help in setting up my WordPress Blog, you were a lifesaver! XOXO

    1. Thank you. My projects are always small so I can get a lot done. I should attempt something bigger like an afghan. I am glad I was able to help you , if you have any questions, please email me and I can try to help. XO
