Sunday Selfies : Letters to Santa Week 1

Hi everyone! This sure has been a sad week. Before I show you our selfies, I want to pause to pray for our dear friend, Fiona. purrs-prayers-for-fiona-sidebar

I got to see my Grammie on Saturday, I love her so very much which is why I told Santa he better make sure his reindeer don’t run her over. Every year, I worry so much about that.

  1. Mom burst out with a snort when she read Penny’s p.s. That’s just like our house. Thank you. It is with much sadness that we let you know that Fiona left us on Thursday, which you will read on today’s post. Thank you Ellen. You are a great friend. And thank you for sharing the anemia meds with us. We have two doses remaining. If you hear of anyone who could use them, let us know and we will pay it forward. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth ad Calista Jo

    1. We are glad we could give you a chuckle after all you have been through. We are so sorry that sweet Fiona has left you. XO

  2. Those are great letters. Penny I will do my best to send you a box!! Simon says he’s glad he know you like treats!! We love you !!

  3. Love the letters! And don’t worry about Santa running over Grammie, it’s just a silly song the elves started singing to tease Santa, and they all thinks it’s silly but would never hurt anyone’s grandmother. (Santa was interviewed on the radio yesterday and said so.)

  4. We have been looking forward to these letters, and they are too purrfect! Phoebe, you are such a purrfect grandkitty, always looking out for your grammie. She’s lucky to have you. I bet Santa will be good to all of you this year, as surely you’ve all been nice and not a even a little bit naughty. Purrs, and we can’t wait to see the rest of your letters to Santa!

  5. I hope Santa brings you a new box, Penny, but don’t pee in that one as well.
I am sure Santa will be very careful not to run your Grammie over, Phoebe.

  6. Don’t you worry I am sure Santa won’t run over your sweet Grammie. And I am sure you will get everything you want for Christmas as I know you have all been such good kitties.

P.S.: We have a fun giveaway for kitties on our blog. It goes until midnight. Hope you will stop by.

  7. Phoebe, it is kind and selfless to be concerned for Grammie! I hope you all receive all you wish for. We asre hoping and purraying there are no more departings for the forseeable!! xx

  8. I sure hope Santa pays attention to all your letters! Especially the one about not running over your Grammie! Angel Sammy sends his love – he’s busy settling in at the Bridge……

    Hugs, Pam

  9. “I peed (barfed) in the other one.” The ONE phrase that you can identify as from a cat right off. I’m thinking Bear needs some sisters and brothers and then maybe his letters to Santa won’t be quite as … err … INVOLVED. His expectations are quite high in relation to the Meowing crowd 🙂

    1. I wonder if he would like a sibling. I had an only cat until she was 7 and then all hell broke loose- and she adjusted 🙂

  10. Hi Phoebe, I have it on good account that Santa only uses qualified Reindeer, and that they don’t drive under the influence, of nip at least. Mind you with all those mince pies and whiskies my peep used to put out here in the UK, I sure hope it’s Santa visits your Grammie first! PS love the Santa letters! purrs ERin

  11. I have a feeling Santa is going to grant all your wishes. And, no worries about his running over granny – he watches out for little old ladies especially cuz he knows they can’t move that fast.

    1. Thank you 🙂 I think my Grammie would be mad if she was called a little old lady- MOL!

  12. Oh, is it really possible Grammie could get run over?? Maybe we should write a letter too, so Sandy Claws will be extra sure to keep control of his reindeers. PS: we did use the Feliway this morning. Mom soaked a towel in it to drape over our travel suite.

    1. Your Mom is very smart. We hope your trip is going well. And yes, the more that write to Santa, the better- he needs to get his reindeer under control.

  13. Great to get your letters to Santa done!

Thank you for commenting on our previous post, we don’t know why but your comments were marked as spam! I get sometimes so frustrated at WordPress because I don’t know what I can do about that. I hope it’s working now.

    1. That happens with my wordpress too so I have to remember to check SPAM, I don’t know what to do about it either.

  14. As long as your Grammie doesn’t drink too much egg nog, I don’t think she has to worry about being trampled by reindeer.

  15. Nobody better dare run over your Grammie!

We think you all wrote great letters and theough some were quite funny, we know what you mean by them:)

Pipo would likely ask to have dog-guy go live somewhere else…and Monko would likey ask for ctnip filled beds…like he would mean fresh nests of catnip and not the fleece covered ones, MOL! He is an addict! Too bad…petcretary would wish for self feeding to happen…but oh well, at least he does eat and he thrives this way.

Thanks for a lighter version of blogging, with those letters. It sure has been a sad time in the blogosphere.

    1. It has been a sad time. We like to be funny and keep things light most of the time. I am glad Minko at least eats for you. 🙂

  16. MOL We luvved Pennys peed in da box story. We’d give her a box ifin we lived closer. Great letters. Big hugs to all.

    Luv ya’

    Dezi and Raena

  17. I just know that Santa will respond to those letters. Just you wait. You’ll have so many wondrous things to enjoy for the holidays, along with a grammie that has not been trampled by deer. Santa can’t deny you!
