Hi everyone! We want to wish a Happy 7th Blogoversary to the hosts  of The Sunday Selfies- The Kitties Blue!

I want to thank you all again for the purrs and prayers for Noel. I will let you know as soon as those results come back.

Here are our selfies- the cats on catnip edition.

SammyEmmyTrouble running from it- she is repulsed by the smell of it. Brody doesn’t like it either.

  1. The kitties don’t like the smell of what? Noel after the vet? Don’t blame them. We wish Noel the POTP but don’t want to smell her, thank you very much.

  4. Nice job, Sammy and Emmy! We’ve found some kitties at the shelter don’t really care about catnip. I guess Trouble and Brody fall into that category, huh? 😉

    Annie likes the catnip at first and after a while she’s not interested anymore.
    Charlie only likes the plant, when its dried and sprinkeld on/in toys he just wants to leave his mark!

  24. Well, Sammy and Emmy are at least really enjoying it! I didn’t realize some cats disliked it. I had some that didn’t care about it either way, but I don’t remember any fleeing from it! 🙂

  30. I can empurrthise with Brody and Trouble. I stay clear of nip and mint leaves that Mom plucks off fresh from her plants, ’cause they smell way too strong even for a kitty with a short nose like mine; I like nip when it’s dry. Kisses.

  31. You kids should be careful with the catnip. I hope that you mom, Miss Ellen talked about the overuse of catnip.

  34. Pipo can get all nipped out too sometimes, but if I give him the fresh leaves from the garden he might have a whiff and then he ignores those. He prefers the dried versions better. He seems to prefers sone brands above others also.

  37. I’m not going to lie, I would have thought Trouble would be all for catnip. She’s not alone, though. Like Trouble and Brody, Eddy has no interest at all in catnip. And I love Emmy’s catnip dance moves! Continued purrs and prayers to Noel, and all of you!
