We were sad to read of the loss of sweet Maxx from Colehaus Cats ( http://www.colehauscats.com/02182015-a-teary-goodbye/)-our thoughts and prayers are with his family. Today is the big day of Summer’s party (http://www.sparklecat.com/) .Phoebe’s Purrince Siddhartha sent her some beautiful flowers: 
She will tell you all about the party on Sunday when she cohosts the blog with Sammy. Sammy will tell all about his Scouts party that he is attending with a sweet little Calico named Maggie. He is trying to earn his badge in Journalism so Phoebe is going to help him with the writing on Sunday. Today, Lucy and I are recommending Athena’s Mom’s newest book,The Snowflake Pendant by Marie Symeou. 
Lucy is also keeping warm and ready for Vaelntine’s Day in the scarf she got for Christmas from our friends at Whiskers in the Window ( http://whiskersinthewindow.blogspot.com ). The Snowflake Pendant was a very enjoyable read. This is the 3rd book of hers that I have read and I always feel as if she is reading my mind. This book is fiction, but as everyone knows, writers write about their lives so there is some overlap. In this book, Cathy is suffering from depression and alcoholism. She also misses her beloved kitty, Suzy that has passed away. Suzy still watches over her and finds a way to help her through their connection with a snowflake pendant from the past.
