Hi everyone! We hope you all had a nice Christmas.
Sammy thinks Santa left him cookies
Grammie got me lots of treats
Emmy got a brown mouse in her stocking
Mommy got Daddy a telescope ( this is him assembling it)
Millie opened this big container of treats from Grammie
KaTwo got these toys from Grammie
And Joanie got her Gremlin, she named him Gremmie
We think maybe Grammie is the real Santa.
Mom even did something stupid for me to write about. She was making gingerbread truffles so she melted white chocolate in the microwave. She thought she set it for a minute and wandered off, when she got back in the room, the microwave was still on and she realized she hit an extra zero so it was set for 10 minutes. Luckily, it had only been 3 minutes, enough to ruin the chocolate, but she was able to save the bowl.
Ouch! Loosing chocolate is never a good thing! I’m glad you all had a sweet holiday and an even sweeter Grammy!

Ha, I’ve done dumb things with micro-wave ovens, including leaving items in them too long. Funny smells that come from micro-waves…

Look at those wonderful goodies Santa Paws and Gammy gifted you all. Joanie, we sure were hoping you’d have a gremlin coming your way! Gingerbread truffles sound delicious, even if the chocolate didn’t survive the microwave. The human here isn’t one to judge, though, because she’s destroyed a few foods in the microwave herself, chocolate included. Merry Second Day of Christmas to you all!

Hurray for a delightful Christmas. ~hugs~ Glad the bowl could be saved. I once set the microwave on the wrong setting and filled the house with smoke. And my partner didn’t know I’d removed one of the window screens to reach a hummingbird feeder from inside, so our three cats got out. ~shakes head~ That was an exciting day.
