Happy Wednesday everyone! It is a happy day here- Lucy’s blood work was perfect which is amazing being that she is 16. I was very relieved to get that news. Thank you all for the purrs and prayers. I hope she doesn’t make the connection that she gets pain meds when she pees in bad places or I could have a  problem. We have been calling her Nurse Jackie. I will keep you posted on Spooky, but his test isn’t until Thursday so I won’t know until late Friday.

This week I have something everyone can do to help cats and it won’t cause you anything. Most of you have probably heard of www.goodsearch.com .It is run by Google but to look up something you go to goodsearch instead and it donates to a charity of your choice for every search. There is also a shopping section and money gets donated from there as well. I typed in “cat” and over 150 shelters were registered. I looked at the list and chose one in Massachusetts called the Ellen Gifford Cat Shelter. I know a lot of my readers are involved with shelters, you may want to tell them to register so they can get donations too.

  2. That’s really good news about Lucy’s blood test, but still makes you wonder why she didn’t user her litter box. Maybe just a little senior moment or a sore joint, but I hope it doesn’t happen again.

    1. She hasn’t used the box in a couple years, I had her tested a couple times. She pees on a puppy pad near the box. Apparently she pooped on it the other morning when I was sleeping and she had to pee before I picked it up so she chose the rug. She also does this when I don’t give her enough one on one attention.

  3. Binga just had blood work done (she has tartar buildup and a tooth that’s threatening to go bad, so she needs a dental), and hers was perfect too! And she is not too far behind Lucy, as she will be 15 in August. Goodsearch is an awesome idea!

  7. That’s good news ! Pookie refused all pain killers and apparently didn’t need them, because the next day she was fine. And despite the fact that she has no teeth anymore she eats like a horse !

Sorry butt LadyMum got her shots an shee came home an eated an then shee sleeped fur allmsot 3 hours. Then shee got up an had suppurr an got dressed an went out with Aunty Sheila (mee will bloggie ’bout this soon) an then toda LadyMum spent thee hole morning talkin to Lady Sharon (thee head lady of Feral Kat Rescue) an Lady Mary Ellen where mee used to live an Aunty Sheila an it just went on an on (an mee went out inn Condo fur a long while…) Inn thee afternoon shee was cleenin up an checkin emails an THEN shee went to thee Farmacee an corner store fur kat food an then to visit Lady Deb an take her fur a walk (shee iss just outta Hospital). Mee tried to stay awake butt mee fell asleep an just woke up an thott “Oh no’s, mee not reply to mee buttercup gurl!!!” Pleeze furgive mee Purrincess Gurl…mee iss sorry!
