Hi everyone! As you can see by the title, I am going to do a lot of hopping today.
For PepiSmart Dog’s Thankful Thursday, I am thankful that my Grammie stayed with us Monday while Mom and Dad were at the movies. I love her so very much! And Woosie boy, Brody is still afraid of everyone except Mom and Dad so he hid the entire time which means I had peace and quiet.
For P.S.Annie’s Throwback Thursday, I have a photo of my friend Barney, she went to The Bridge in 2013. Brody does look a little like her, I wonder why my folks give Irish names to gray and white cats?
And last, but definitely not least is my poem for my friend Sammy’s Poetry Day featuring the letter H this week. I have written a Hairball Haiku:
Hairballs are icky
they make you cough and gag too
a gift for mom’s shoe
And here are tomorrow’s fill-ins. Mom came up with the first two and our co-host, Annie of McGuffy’s Reader came up with the second two. Annie apologizes if she hasn’t commented on your fill-ins from last week, she has been under the weather. Please purr and pray for her to feel better.
Friendly Fill-Ins Week 13
1. I am most proud of _____________________________.
2. I am embarrassed to admit __________________________________________.
3. My super-power might be .
I never thought about gray and white cats getting Irish names – interesting!
It seems to be a rule in this house 🙂
Awww Barney and Brody both look so soft. You’re all beautiful kitties. I love your haiku, but I bet that Mommy doesn’t love finding hairballs in her shoes. haha
Thank you for joining Throwback Thursday this week. The linky for it is on both PS Annie! and McClendon Villa now. I’m sorry that I was late in getting it on there this week.
Have a happy and blessed week. 🙂
Brody says thank you and Phoebe is glad you like her poem- and you are correct, I don’t like finding them in my shoes 🙂 I didn’t link up until this morning so I never noticed you were late. 🙂
We like Irish names 🙂
Loved the poem!
Purrs xx
Athena and Marie
Me too 🙂 Phoebe is glad you liked the poem. XO
Thank you for sharing a picture of Barney <3
You’re welcome, she is missed.
Your poem made me laugh. 🙂
MOL! 🙂
I am so glad you got some time with your grammie, Phoebe! And you sure are a great poet. I’ve always found haikus very intriguing.
Barney and Brody sure do look a lot alike – so fluffy! And Brody sounds like my Eddy, preferring the company of only that one particular human. Eddy has to go to the vet today for her annual, and this mom is worried that the skittish, feisty little lady is going to be a bit of a nightmare.
Purrs to all of you!
We hope Eddy had a good vet visit today. Phoebe is glad you like her poem.:)
HAHAHA…..love your hairhall haiku! It’s most excellent! You are hopping all over the place today but I’m glad you landed at my place on your journey!
Love, Sammy
Thank you Sammy, I am glad you enjoyed my Haiku. XO and love to you and you Mom too.
Annie, feel better soon! And why do you call Brody ‘Woosie Boy’? Be nice, Phoebe!
Because he is afraid of Grammie- how can he be afraid of sweet Grammie?
Did your mom and dad like the Star Trek movie? Our mom and did enjoyed it.
1. I am most proud of learning many new skills around the house.
2. I am embarrassed to admit that I don’t own a smartphone.
3. My super power might be reading too much (LOL).
4. I really wish I could afford a vacation abroad somewhere.
They loved the movie, Dad went to see it again in 3D today with a friend. Thank you for your answers. My Mom’s phone doesn’t even have a camera. That is a great super power 🙂
I never noticed that gray and white cats had Irish names. I’ve known 3 gray and whites: Christopher, Kristine and Emily…. don’t know if those are considered to be Irish or not.
Have a great day hopping!
I guess it is just a rule here 🙂
That was a fun poem! We are glad you got to spend some time with your Grammie.
Thank you 🙂
Your haiku made me giggle.
