Phoebe’s Selfie Sunday

Hi everyone! You saw how my perch was not level on Wednesday, well look at this one. Mom calls it The Leaning Tower of Phoebe.

It is a health hazard. And my Dad has been too busy gardening to fix them-phooey!

Thanks to all who made donations to my Purrince’s feral group. That was very kind of you.

I got to see Grammie on Thursday. I love her so very much!  Poor Grammie, she has a new purse and got an ink mark on it. Mom told her to put hairspray on it and wipe it off- it wiped it off along with the color of the purse so now it has a white spot. Then Mom tells her to wipe the whole thing so it will be the same color or put a patch on it- sometimes I wonder about my Mom. By the way, I think she should change this shower curtain from Christmas.

I want to thank Pipo and MJF for this beautiful Gotcha Day card.

   Thank you !

Mom got me a big bag of cheezy party mix, but I have now decided that I don’t care for that flavor. Grammie got a big container of a fishy flavor and I like that now.

I am joining The Cat on My Head’s Sunday Selfie Hop. I am also joining The Pet Blogger Showcase.

We are having a giveaway this week of a Kitty Kick Sticks- stay tuned.

One more thing- has anyone seen my shades? They have gone missing again? I think a snail could have traveled the country quicker than they have.

  1. Phoebe, please be kind to your Mom and speak of her well–she is patient and adores you, so please be patient with her. She has a large brood to care for!

  2. That shower curtain is there for Christmas in July!!! She is spot on, Phoebe…

Too bad about your tower. We had one like that here when Minko and I were kittens, but it did the leaning thing too, and ruined our ceiling too. Petcretary gave it to one of the local shelters.

Maybe if your Grammie goes to a shoe repair place, they can re-dye that purse for her. I know they can dye shoes.

    Enjoy all your yummy treats!

    1. That is a good idea for the purse. Mom likes the idea of Christmas in July 🙂 XO

  3. Purrseidon literally broke her cat tower in half… 6′ turned into 3’… Has your staff thought of putting the tilted side against the wall for support?

  4. Oh Phoebe. SO many things to deal with!

    1. Dad. How is gardening more important than your stuff? Now, if you would be allowed outside, that would be something different, but that way…

    2. Your Mom. Please be clever and do never take any advice from her.

    1. I should be allowed to go outside with Dad. Good idea not to take advice from Mom 🙂

  5. Well Phoebe, at least you can still sit on your leaning cat tree and that is what is important. You look cute at an angle. You all have a super duper day.

  6. My suggestion is to leave the shower curtain up until it is Christmas again. Much easier.

  7. That Leaning Tower of Phoebe sure is impressively defying gravity. Do you ever get any tourists coming about to snap shots of it? Thimble’s giant 21-lb brother Trapper (who owns this here human’s parents) turns all of their cat trees into leaning towers, too.

And you know what, Phoebe? I don’t think we actually wished you a happy Gotcha Day. So, happy Gotcha Day, lovely Phoebe!

    1. WOW! Trapper weighs more than Sammy who weighs 19 pounds. Thank you for the Gotcha Day wishes. I should charge for the photos of the Leaning Tower of Phoebe.

  8. Our Dad is a bit lax in fixing up our tree and scratchers. mol
Thanks fur coming to our pawty

  9. Tell Grammie to put a big hello kitty sticker on her purse to cover the spot. Very fashionable!

  10. Your Mom has very creative ideas for solutions……!! Now if she can figure out how to get that leaning tower of Phoebe fixed AND find a different shower curtain (on the other hand, it’s only a few months til winter and she could be getting a head start on decorating by leaving it UP!). HAHAHA Glad you got some treats from Grammie for your GOTCHA DAY!

    Love, Teddy

  11. Oh my word Phoebe, please be careful up there! I know Pisa stood for a while but I do think you need to get the builders in, pronto! Maybe mom could do the garden and dad the building work! On the shower front, maybe one with ‘let it shine” on it would be better, or “April Showers”?

    1. Mom garden?? MOL! That is too funny. Those are great ideas for shower curtains. XO

  12. The cat tree reminds me of one of the three (!) my father built for our house. It’s not as twisted, but has turned a little over the years. Happy Sunday!

  13. Dad needs to fix your tree before there is an accident.

I’m glad you got to see your Grammie, but I’m very sorry about her purse. Yikes.

Have a purrfect day. My best to your peeps. ☺

  17. I think it is a great idea to still have the snow shower curtain up. It is bound to help one feel cooler on these hot summer days. I know that sort of thing works for me.

Your leaning tower of Phoebe looks like a most interesting adventure!

I’m sorry that Grammie’s purse got a boo-boo. One thing that I’ve found that is good for removing things like ink is a baby wipe. Maybe it wouldn’t remove anything other than the ink. I haven’t had any further damage when using them on accidentally inked things.

I hope that all of you have a great day. 🙂

    1. She certainly has access to plenty of baby wipes, that is a good idea 🙂 Thank you.
We hope you had a great day too.

  18. Be careful on that tower, Phoebe! I suggest you put a quick evacuation plan in place just in case gravity really takes hold 🙂

  19. Nah, I say the shower curtain stays 🙂 Your cat tree makes me think of when a landscaper came this spring and asked to borrow a ladder. I warned him it was a bit rickety. He wouldn’t use it…he said, “That’s not rickety, it’s a death trap!”

  20. Phoebe,
Your tower may be leaning, but you look purrfectly right. Your selfie is beautiful.

  21. We have not seen snow yet. Our mom would love to have a shower curtain for winter with snowflakes on it. Thanks for showing it to us!

  22. Oh boy. I still have my outdoor wreath from kitchen, it’s attached to the balcony. I think my neighbors would like the shower curtain better….they wouldn’t be able to see it. LOL

    1. That is funny, glad we aren’t the only ones slow about taking decorations down.
