Penny’s Tips Volume 88

Hi everyone! I have some easy wreaths you can make for today.

For this kind , all you need is a  styrofoam wreath, a skein of loop yarn and some embellishments.

Mom made this for The Great One. It is a Frozen wreath. She used wire to add  Elsa, Anna and Olaf buttons. She also added the silver balls after gluing the yarn onto the styrofoam. First, she invited Grammie over for a visit and made her loop the yarn around the wreath.

Scrap wreaths are easy peasy too.  The Dollar Tree has the wire frame. Then you cut fabrics into strips of 7 inches long by 2.5 inches wide. Mom bought a jelly roll with all Christmas patterns for this one and she added some red tulle she had leftover from Joanie’s new tutu. Then you tie it into knots all around the wreath.

Mom was supposed to make another one with vintage Christmas lights, but she was too lazy.

It is December 1st so it looks like I can dig into the Advent calendar sent to us by a dear friend.  And being that I do all the work around here, I think I deserve all the treats- do you agree?

  9. I think a vintage Christmas light wreath would be worth the effort. Well, maybe not for me but for someone who knows what they are doing.

    1. Mom thanks you. And I say my siblings can have the treats, I prefer Temptations. 🙂
