Penny’s Tips- Sort Of

Hi everyone! I am looking for tips for a problem I have.

You may be wondering why I have laser eyes.

This is why!!! That little beast of a Rosie is stealing my Daddy’s lap!!!! I need tips on how to off  remove her. Is anyone looking to adopt a sweet kitty? I can ship her anywhere in the US. Just don’t tell my folks 🙂

Next week is Mardi Gras so we will be sporting our beads instead of tips.

  1. OOhhhh this is a tough one, but I’m afraid you will have to learn to get along with her. Look at sweet, handsome Brody. It took some time but eventually there was peace.

  2. Maybe you, as top kitty could be on your Daddy’s chest, out of reach of Rosie, and you can enjoy the warmth of his breath sending loving waves over you…the kitty on the lap can’t feel those…
Or maybe your mommy can pick her up so you have a chance, and Rosie can enjoy your Mommy’s lap. Hmmm…hope you can figure it all out, soon.
There is lots of snow at your place judging by what we can see out the window there…

  3. Oh, dear! Penny, isn’t there some way you and Rosie could share your Daddy’s lap. Sort of like a kitty pile with Daddy as an extra kitty (mol)?

  4. Oh Penny I’m sorry Rosie has discovered your Dad’s lap is a pretty good warm spot – but you can share right? She’s your newest sister and is feeling very at home with all of you. Getting to know laps is part of the adjustment!!

    Hugs, Teddy

  5. Whenever Frankie gets on my lap, Chris gets on my lap too and then annoys Frankie with love and attention until he leaves. Perhaps you could try that.

  6. We have two answers. Benny and Ringo say that there is totally enough space for two kitties there. You just have to get there first to find a better spot. Lucy and Sadie say that you just can’t share because it’s impossible.

  7. I don’t think you’re going to get away with shipping her off. I think you need to be quicker to claim dads lap. Just saying.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. My best to your siblings and your wonderful mom. ♥

  8. Well, I suggest you and Rosie set up a schedule time for Daddy’s lap! You can’t just ship her off because that’s not a good-kitty thing to do.

  9. Your Mom and Dad wouldn’t be happy if you shipped Rosie off to another home. Sharing is the best thing you can do.

  10. LOL “I can ship her anywhere in the US”. Well I’m not sure if it’s the best solution 🙂 “Sharing” would be good and make your dad happy for sure 🙂

  11. I hate to tell you, Penny, but you’d need a human accomplish to handle shipping. lol You’re smart, though, and sure to find an amicable workaround. ~grin~ There are some good suggestions in the comments.

  12. Oh Penny bless your heart…we have never owned more than one pet at at time so I am probably of no help, except to say good things come to those who wait.

  13. Charlee: “Hi Penny! So at the post office they have these things called ‘flat rate boxes’ and the label says ‘if it fits, it ships’. I have also seen those boxes here around our house. So if you can find one of those, leave it out where Rosie can see it, then when she gets inside—which she will, because it’s a box—you can close her up in it, and then it’ll ship her … Uh, somewhere. I’m not sure where. But I’m planning to do it to Chaplin the next time he decides to bully me, and I’ll definitely let you know where he ends up when—”
Chaplin: “Hi Charlee! What are you writing to Penny about?”
    Charlee: “Oh just girl stuff.”

  14. What the … little tramps are invading the homes of all our Moms and Dads! They make themselves at home like they live there. Phht. See, you put out a box and wait for Rosie to jump in it. When she’s in the box, slap the flaps down and tape it well. Then address the box to Timbuctoo. But don’t make the mistake I did … when Smellie wouldn’t jump in the box, I threw my favorite catnip banana in there … then I had second thoughts and I jumped in to get it out because she can’t have my banana … and then she closed ME in the box. We know you like boxes too, Penny. You have to use all your strength and resist the urge to jump in yourself. Unfortunately, my Momma was there taking pictures – you probably read that post. Sisters are tricky! [sigh] ~Bear Cat

  15. I take it sharing your dad’s lap is not an option, Penny? If not, then perhaps you could use Eddy’s method of just sitting on top of whoever is in your way. That usually annoy’s Eddy’s victim enough that they move out of her way. And we can’t wait to see you sporting your beads next week!

  16. We agree with the above, Dad’s lap looks big enough for both of you! Sharing is nice, and we bet Dad would like that too. 🙂
