Nosey Rosie’s Tips 47

Hi everyone. I haven’t gotten to post in a few weeks so I have a lot to report. Sorry this is so late, but WordPress was being a poo poo head. I learned that word from the kids. Actially, mom sometimes calls dad that.

Joanie and Drake had vet appointments on Monday for blood work. Joanie is mad that she doesn’t get a present every time she goes to the vet like Emmy does, but her vet is only 10 minutes away. I am sure she will get a new toy for her big birthday on Friday.

Drake’s blood work was done in-house so results are in-his thyroid is stable, but kidney values are worse so he needs to eat the crappy kidney diet food now.

It seems that Ethel, Lucy and Bridget forgot that Tuffy is related to them. They are acting afraid of the little guy. He is still hiding for the most part.

  1. Glad to hear Drake’s thyroid is stable and I hope and pray the kidney diet food will have a positive impact! That is a cutie pie picture of Tuffy and I’m sure him and the others will all come around! Rosie thank you for sharing with us! It was good to hear from you! 🙂 <3

  2. My goodness, busy, busy busy at your house! I bet you kitties wish it was busy with treats rather than vet visits and kidney diet food … oh well, y’all have to be healthy and your Peeps make sure you’re all taken care of.

  3. Ha! Poo poo head, I like it! Busy times and I’m glad that Drake’s thyroid is doing well! Hope his kidney diet will help. Nosey Rosey you look cute today! Tuffy looks like a beautiful kitty. I’m sure everyone will adjust and he’ll be very happy there! XO

  4. Purrs any outstanding tests will be good! Sorry that Drake has to eat yucky food even if it is better for him.
Tuffy is pretty cute. I hope he will be accepted by the gang in time.
    Purrs, Julie

  5. That Tuffy has the MOST beautiful eyeballs we have ever seen. WOWSER. And poopoo head is now in our vocabulary but only for the most wonderful people, like your hubby.

  6. Poo poo head. That’s a great phrase. I’m going to use it.

Thanks for keeping us up on the events in your world. Vet visits are just as hard from mom as it is for you.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday, Rosie. Scritches all around and my best to your mom. xo ♥

  7. We hope Ethel, Lucy and Bridget stop being poo-poo heads and welcome Tuffy back into the family! Tell Drake all of his friends are insisting he behave and eat his special food – period!

    Hugs, Teddy

  8. Awww, we haven’t heard that great term in a long while..PooPooHead, LOL! Love it! We mostly use cuckoo-head around here…
I had a lot of giggles from this post, but also some POTP thoughts and hugs for Drake with his kidney issues. Hope he’ll enjoy the new food, and thrive on it.

Tuffy, you are a handsome dude, and we think that eventually your relatives might forgive you for re-entering their lives!
You just ignore them and enjoy your new forever home…its a great one! Wait…its the best one!

    Hugs and love to all.🥰❤️

  9. They will remember Tuffy with time. Link Linker the Stinker forgot Mikey was one of his best friends when Mikey came back from Kansas, but he remembered after a while.

Poor Drake All our cats are on the diet kidney food to make it easier, they all get the same so no complaints or raids on other food bowls.

Joanie, i think you’ll get plenty on your birthday.

    Thanks for the news, Rosie!

  10. Tuffy is a handsome boy. I hope his family soon remember him. I hope the kidney food helps Drake, but it is good that his thyroid is stable.

      1. I just calls ’em like I sees ’em. lol And I wonder if a different father or the fact these cats are opposite genders (even spay/neutered) makes a difference. No doubt you know better than I. Blessings, my dear.

  11. Charlee: “Aww, poor Tuffy, hiding away. I’m sending lots of purrs that he settles into the group soon!”
Chaplin: “Hey Drake! I am on some special food now too for IBD and also for kidney health. Charlee wants to eat my food because it’s special but Dada tells her no, it’s all mine.”
Charlee: “It’s true, I try to steal Chaplin’s bag of food and run off with it whenever it’s out on the counter while Dada is getting our meals ready. But Dada won’t let me.”
Chaplin: “This sort of thing is why Dennis used to call him ‘krool krool dada’ you know.”

  12. Thanks for the update Rosie. I hope Tuffy comes out of hiding soon and the food helps Drake’s kidneys. You sure had a busy week.

  13. Sorry to hear about Drake’s medical issues, and that Tuffy’s still in hiding. Hopefully this will all work out in the not-too-distant future. Come on Tuffy — live up to your name. You’ll be glad you did.

    1. Thank you. He sure lived up to his name when I was trying to catch him. I have the wounds to prove it. 🙂 XO
