Nosey Rosie’s Gabfest

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a nice Christmas.

Sorry I look so tired, but I may have had a little too much silvervine on Christmas.

Mom put out the cookies and coffee for Santa. And I set up the video camera. Rusty promised he wouldn’t steal the cookies this year so I think I finally got a video of Santa.

Drat! Trouble got to them before Santa. Maybe next year.

Christmas Eve was fun. Grammie came over for supper and I spent a lot of time letting her pet me. And she even let me play with her phone.

And look at all the presents she brought us on Christmas Day!

The gingerbread boys each got a catnip gingerbread toy.

And Tuffy got a red mousie ( he collects them).

And Lola got a bed from Grammie and a blankie.

Mom got a Potato Head ornament.

And Gremmie got a rock and roll electric guitar.

Some of us got IOU’s from Santa- have you ever heard of that?

I am surprised no one commented on our nativity scene with the Holy Ghost( next to the camel). Mom thought he looked cute with the nativity and she figured Jesus would have chuckled.

Well, I must go have some of my treats from Grammie. Then I need to hide because those girls are coming over tomorrow.

We are joining Comedy Plus’ Happy Tuesday Blog Hop. See you next year!

  1. Glad you all had a lovely Christmas. The Nativity scene is lovely, but I didn’t see the Holy Ghost until you said about him

  2. It looks like there were lots of gifts to go around. That’s wonderful rosie. Sorry we missed the Holy Ghost. It certainly was right where it belonged to be, with the baby Jesus. Good luck with those two girls.

  3. I am glad the kitties got pressies and happy you had a nice Christmas. The Nativity scene is lovely and I see the Holy Ghost now that you mentioned it.

  4. I did notice the Holy Ghost … mostly because I couldn’t tell what it was until I enlarged it … I guess I didn’t realize that was new this year LOL … I did think it was clever!

  5. What a wonderful Christmas you all had, except for the IOU’s. What’s up with that. You did make me laugh out loud though.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and a hug to your wonderful mom. xo ♥

  6. Charlee: “First get the treats, then go hide … That is definitely the way to do it!”
Chaplin: “We sure hope Santa makes good on those IOUs. He’s pretty big on lists so he ought to be keeping track of them.”
    Oona: “Rock on, Gremmie!”

  7. Trouble OMCs you stole the snacks for Sandy Claws. You are already on his naughty list.

  9. It sounds like Santa was caught short this year. I understand many of his “elves” have been to the vet, uh, doc, this past year costing quite a bit.

As the Grinch found out, you don’t have to have gifts to have Christmas, just love, and you got plenty of that in your house.

I do hope someday you figure out the girls won’t hurt you. They never hurt Joanie, do they?

My computer screen is so small, I couldn’t make out what that was in the Nativity Scene. Of course the Spirit was there, so I understand the addition.

  10. You guys scored! I never noticed the ghost in the nativity scene. Too clever and funny!
