How Much Do You Know About Cats?

Hi everyone! I have a quiz for you today. I was recently contacted by The Pet Community blog and offered a quiz to share. It is only 10 questions and I figured I would ace it being that I live with so many cats, but I got about 4 correct out of 10. I thought it would be fun to share with all of you cat lovers. Phoebe is going to have a contest based on the quiz on Thursday. Here is the link to the quiz:

Could you please purr and pray for my hubby? He hasn’t been feeling well and I finally got him to go the Doctor today , then he got sent for an ultrasound of his leg. He has a deep vein thrombosis ( blood clot) in his leg. He had one in the same leg 8 years ago.

In other news, I also had an appointment today for my allergy shot. The Doctor looked in my ears and I have 2 cat hairs on one of my ear drums- I assume they are Sammy’s being that he sleeps on my head 🙂

  5. Mom got 70% correct on the quiz. If she gone with her first answer on one of the questions she would have got 80%. Oh wow, Mom says she’ll add the hubby to her prayer list. That DVT is very scary. Finally, will it hurt your eardrum with the two cat hairs on it? Does the doctor need to remove them? Can you feel them? Mom will add you, Ellen, to her prayer list as well.   7. That was a fun quiz. I got half of them right which actually is more than I thought I would get! I hope your hubby’s leg will be taken care of – kind of a scary thing (my hubby has had that too!)………..I guess hair on the ear drum is one of those little irritations that happens when there are 13 cats around the house (tee hee).

  8. We are sending lots and lots of purrs and prayers to your husband! And to you for your allergies as well! It’s strange the places cat hair ends up, but at the same time not all that surprising. I got a 10 out of 10 on the quiz, but I also studied that kind of stuff in college and worked at at cat clinic, so it’s kind of ingrained in me. Happy Tuesday to all of you!

  9. Praying for your husband, i’m sure a deep vein thrombosis is not fun at all. Neither is hair in your ears, your own or a cat’s hair. The quiz looks like fun to save for after work.

  24. Prayers for your husband – glad you got him to the doctor NOW instead of later ! Only got 50% on the quiz – must’ve been inhaling too many litter box fumes. Someone asked f the cat hairs bothered you – probably not until the doctor told you they were there !

  26. Furst and furmost, we’re sendin’ lots of purrayers fur hubby. Secondly, what’s dat mean ’bout da cat furs on your ear drum? Is dat harmful? Are ya’ gonna be okay? Do you have to have them removed? Ya’ know, more info purrlease. And thirdly, mommy made a 90 on da quiz. One of da answers didn’t have accurate infurmation, so she chose da one closest to da right answer and they counted it as wrong. Anyways, big hugs to all.

    1. Thank you for praying for my hubby. The cat hairs in my ear are nothing, but she noticed them when she looked inside my ears. She said sometimes that can cause a cough. I do cough a lot so maybe I have had them for a while. I need to use ear cleaner 🙂 Good job on the quiz. Which # was incorrect?XO

      1. Yur so-o rite sweet buttercup!!! An iss good shee has lotss of books as shee iss sick with thee Flu now! Shee was unwell fur a few dayss butt did not realize it was Flu til shee spikeyed fevurr at 101 F….
        So mee packed her off to bed with her book an fone an water an mee ‘on duty’. Poor Ladymum shee iss as week as a kitt!!! 🙁

  41. Maybe you are growing cat hairs and becoming a kitty! Hope they were not dangerous and I hope so much that your sweet husband can get fixed…uh…repaired in his leg. They have things for that, right? Blood thinners? Anyway, good vibrations for both of you and the kitties.
