Happy Monday everyone! Phoebe said to thank everyone who read her post yesterday and let you know that she survived Lucy’s wrath.

Looks like my sticky P foiled me again. My mom called me laughing the other day. Apparently I wrote Joanie was having her teeth cleaned and her bum removed on Wednesday. Joanie is not having her bum removed, she is having a bumP removed. If anyone spots any typos, I won’t be offended if you comment on them- I would appreciate it.

I was trying to come up with something for Fun and Games Day and I remembered somethnig my niece made for KaChoo. Sarah made these when she was about 8 years old :007KaChoo enjoyed them for many years and they got put into a decorative jar where I forgot about them. I tried them out on Sammy and Joanie and they love them. It is a stretchy plastic cord with a bow and the other has part of a milk top. I am sure you know this, but just in case, the toy is interactive and should be put away when you’re not playing with your kitty.

Sadly ,KaChoo passed away in 2010, but I am proud to say Sarah got a degree in Animal Science that same year and is now 26 and manager of a veterinarian practice.

Don’t forget to comment if you haven’t already for a chance to win catnip turkey drumsticks. 002

  1. It’s really funny how an entire word can change with just one missing letter!

It’s really awesome that Sarah is doing so well. The world can always use more kind, compassionate people to work with our precious fur babies, so I’m glad she went into this field.

    1. I don’t think Joanie would want to lose her bum, she probablyy won’t be happy about the bump either.

  2. We are happy to hear that Joanie’s bum will not be removed! Whew! We like the toy on the stretchy string with the bow and milk top…….the simplest stuff makes the BESTEST toys! Every time I see those turkey legs I think how darned cute they are……..

    Hugs, Sammy

  3. That toy looks great: inexpensive and so easy. Even our human could do it, we bet. Thanks for the idea!

Glad it was just a “bump!” LOL.

  4. Cute toy. Mom never lets me play with “strangle” toys alone and she always puts them in a drawer when we’re not playing. This includes my wand toy that has a long fleecy ribbon.

    1. Your mom is very smart. Thank you so much for the surprise you sent us today- you and your mom are very sweet.

    1. Yes, SHe is very relieved, but I don’t think she is looking forward to the bump removal.

  6. hahaha….having her bum removed….funny…mom makes boobs quite often and Kali and I have a gay ole time chuckling away. I think you were the one that told me about the Siamese cat books. I had mom get the, “Cat in the Belfry.” Mom started it last night and her and dad were in stitches until mom got wet eyes. I didn’t think it was that funny. I completely understand why the kitty did the things she did. Thanks so much for recommending the books.

    1. I am so happy your mom and dad are enjoying the books. There are a lot of them to keep them amused.

  7. Those homemade toys are always the best! 🙂

We hope the bump on the bum isn’t serious!

    1. Thank you. The bump is on her head, I just made a typo one day that said she was having her bum removed 🙂
