Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays and Mewsic Moves Me (hosted by Curious as a Cathy, Xmas Dolly, JAmerican Spice and Stacy Uncorked.) The mewsic theme for the entire month of December is Christmas music so we will be participating every week.

I will start off with my all-time favorite Christmas song. Lou Monte’s Dominick the Donkey. I had never heard it until it was featured in the film, Riding in Cars with Boys ( Drew Barrymore).

And because it is Hanukkah and I love Adam Sandler ( not as much as Nicolas Cage though), here is The Hanukkah Song-

Joanie enjoyed another play date with The Great One. She has an Elsa dress almost like Elsa Bear.

  2. OhMyGosh that song that Adam Sandler sings has me laughing this morning! Your Dominick the Donkey song had me googling for Nestor, the Long-Eared Donkey… I don’t know why??? Joanie and The Great One together again… a little festive fun ♥

    1. I remember that Christmas special. I saw it once and it got me so upset that his mother died that I could never watch it again. XO

      1. I know! Same with me and Bambi and The Yearling. I quit following horse racing, the Kentucky Derby, and the Triple Crown races because I can’t stand to watch the horses break down.

        2. I have never seen Bambi or the Lion King because a parent dies- I am such a baby.

    Mom was a bit leaky eyed at Dominick the Donkey. Dad used to play that for her and she would dance with Ellie or Allie while singing along. Good memories.

  17. This was the first time we ever heard of Dominick the Donkey. song. It was really cute. We love Adam Sandler too. He has had many songs that are really funny. Joanie looks like she’s having so much fun with her playdate. Thanks for the share. Have a wonderful day.

  19. My sister and I were just this morning talking about what a fun song Dominick the Donkey is. I’ve hardly heard it at all this year yet, though, so I’ll be listening to it right now. And, Joanie, you are the prettiest Elsa ever! Purrs!
