It’s Monday! What Are YOU Reading ?

Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays and Book Date’s It’s Monday What are YOU Reading?

I have been reading a lot lately. Penny showed you some of the titles last week.

Matthew Perry’s ,Friends, Lovers , and the Big Terrible Thing was an interesting read. I loved Friends and still watch the re-runs. I admire his honesty about the big terrible thing (addiction). I am actually amazed he is still alive when at one point in his life, he needed to take 55 pills a day to get by. I don’t know how a body can survive that many pills.

I also enjoyed Jennifer Grey’s memoir- Out of the Corner. There was a chapter in there about when she first started acting and had an intimate scene with Nicolas Cage. I had actually forgotten she was in The Cotton Club with him in 1984.

And Michelle Obama’s, The Light We Carry : Overcoming in Uncertain Times was great. She shares her toolbox of strategies she uses to deal with tough times. It helped me remember some of mine that I had forgotten about.

Rosie will be here tomorrow to show you her vision board and mine and hopefully inspire you to make one too.
