Hi everyone! Thank you all for the birthday wishes yesterday, I am thankful for all of you.

We are joining Book Date’s It’ Monday! What Are YOU Reading? and Comedy Plus’ Awwww… Mondays blog hops.

Joanie enjoyed her week off and is ready to review Brian Tracy’s Eat That Frog!

How am I supposed to eat frog when this book don’t tell me how to catch it or cook it? I don’t recommend it.

Sorry Joanie, I thought it was pretty good. It tells how to stop procrastinating and start making goals. It is common sense, but so few actually do it, myself included.

I always use my Barnes and Noble Mastercard at the vet so I ended up earning a Barnes and Noble gift card. I got myself a birthday gift with it- Rescued Volume 2. I loved the first one and so far , I am loving this one too. I have only had time to read the first few stories, but they were all heartwarming. One is by Allie of A Tonk’s Tail, she had a very sad start in life, but I am glad she ended up with a loving forever home.

  7. Frogs! One of Angel Sammy’s besties was a froggy………… “Rescued” is a super good book – we won a copy of it and Mom enjoyed reading all the stories!

  11. Ms. C, my Tuesday lady, has Eat That Frog, and if i finish my work very fast and have a minute to spare, i read a page or two. It is a wonderful book.

    Rescued sounds good, too.

    I’m ready The Force by Don Winslow. It’s a very good read, but it’s frightening.

  19. Those both sound like very good books and you have the best idea on how to snag them! Our Mom is trying to get through her Time Traveler’s Wife. She’s not a quitter (hardly ever!) so we know she’ll work her way to the end.

  20. I have a stack of books to read, but didn’t touch any of them over the weekend…instead, I went for long drives with The Hubby or played with the cats. And I love to read, so maybe this is just a Summertime anomaly.

  21. Claire read a few stories of Rescued 1 and Rescued 2 only. She’s just finished “Cat Daddy” by Jackson Galaxy (with leaky eyes at some moments). Purrs

  25. Great reviews. The first book reminded me of when our dog, Polly, tried to eat a toad. Their secretions are very bitter and she never tried it again. Lucky toad, she spit him out! HUGS!

  28. Well, Mommy is on to another book now. She’s reading The Bone Witch. It will take her forever to read it because she reads a few pages and then falls asleep.

  34. It was partlee mee fault Phoebe. Mee keeped mee-yowin at her when wee came back frum our walkie fur no reason. Shee was all ready uppyset because shee had trubbull with sum so-called furendss here. So mee sorta tipped her stress level into RED zone an down shee went…it was pawfull! An mee felt so stew-pid! Sum Purr-amedic mee iss…
