It’s Monday! What Are YOU Reading?

Hi everyone! Today we are joining  Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays and Book Date’s It’s Monday! What Are YOU Reading?

I haven’t had much time to read between Christmas shopping, decorating and card writing. I am reading one fun book though on my Kindle. My Mom is going to get me the paperback for Christmas, but I am not a patient woman so I had to see it right away with The Kindle.

Makin’ Biscuits: Weird Cat Habits and the Even Weirder Habits of the Humans Who Love Them by Deborah Barnes is filled with wonderful antidotes than any cat parent will appreciate. And if you sometimes feel like you are a little crazy because of the extremes you will go through to please your cat, then this will make you feel “normal”.

I am honored that two of the stories I sent in were chosen. One is about my Angel Lucy and the other is about our Millie and what we do for him before he goes to bed.

You can get yours on Kindle or paperback at Amazon, it also makes a great gift for any cat lover on your gift list.

Lucy used to love to write to Santa. This is her letter in 2014, she wrote, ” Dear Santa, that elf you sent to spy on us sleeps with the fishes. Lucy”.

  9. T hank you for the book idea and I’m dying to read your stories and wish also to recommend Moonlight, by Michael Chabon. A wonderful fictional memoire, somewhat, of his amazing grandfather and mother and his own family. I also loved the translated books of Camilleri, the inspector in Sicily who solves crimes, but not before having his fried squid or pasta with sea urchin for lunch along the way.
    Love, Loulou

    1. Thank you for these recommendations, I will look into them, they do sound interesting. XO and love to you sweet LouLou
