Happy Saturday

Hi everyone! We are joining in Athena’s Caturday Art Blog Hop. I want to show you the great art I bought from Four-Legged Furball’s Mom on Etsy.

She is not only very talented, she is sweet too- she gave me this beautiful print because she remembered I had admired it on her blog. She also donates part of the proceeds to kitty charities and this month it is for one of my favorites, PAWS.

Please check out her stores, I am sure you will find something you love. One is items she makes from “trash’ to “treasures”- would you believe the sign I bought is made with a coffee can lid? So appropriate for me, the coffee addict.  Click here The other shop is Doodle Downloads where you can download one of her adorable drawings for 99 cents. Click here

I have a cold or an allergy, but I can’t take any medicine for it because I am having allergy testing done next week so I can’t have any in my system. I have great nurses though.

  1. It’s a good thing Joanie isn’t here to nurse my human when she is sick – she’s allergic to aspirin! I love the art.

    1. I have never heard of anyone allergic to aspirin, this one was fake 🙂

  2. Beautiful art, but even better nurses! I hope you feel better very soon!
Good luck with allergy testing. I was tested 30 years ago when I was a young vet tech. I am allergic to all trees, pollens, mold, pretty much everything outside, and DOGS & CATS! Shots gave me migraines, so I said I will just do exposure therapy, and I have. I cannot imagine life without my critters. It would not be living. Feel better! HUGS!

    1. Thank you. I will be glad to be done with the tests so I can take Allegra again. I hope allergy shots don’t give me migraines, I have never had one and never want to. XO

  3. Wow. I wouldn’t mind being sick with those kinds of nurses 🙂 When I get sick, my should-be nurse starts using me as a trampoline because he wants to play :p Okay, okay … he does snuggle too. And he fixes everything too.

  4. Your caregivers are adorable in their official nursing uniforms………Brody especially looks hilarious. Actually Brody looks fabulous and happy – even if the others aren’t overly happy he’s THERE, I think Brody is thrilled! Hope you feel better soon – allergies are icky!

  5. I had allergy testing done a couple months ago & am now getting shots… the very worst part of it was not being able to have any antihistamines for the week prior to testing… and oak trees, one of my main nemeses were doing their thing… My doctor told me no antihistamines BUT said the nasal sprays, like flonaise (sp?) were okay, since they were steroids. I also got hooked on spearmint tic-tacs during that week, because they open up my sinuses.

    1. That is why I am sick because I can’t use Allegra. I was told I can use the nose spray too though. Never thought of tic tacs 🙂

  6. So very pretty.

I hope they get to the bottom of your issue. Feeling poorly is not fun. You do have good medical help though.

Have a purrfect day. My best to your wonderful mom. ☺

  7. Tankies for sharing the art with us. Mommy went right over and bought the cutest kitty collage. We’re going to put it on a special shelf.
With the medical team you have, you’ll be in the pink in no time.

  13. Joannie is such a cute nurse. Brody too. TW had allergy tests and they came out she’s allergic to grass, mold, feathers and, er, cats.Let’s see: I’m a cat and I love playing with feathers and sometimes we have cat grass in the condo.

    1. TW loves you and is willing to be sick so you can enjoy whatever you want. I would do the same.

  14. We love the cat art!! Brody and Joanie made great nurses for you! We hope the allergy tests go well next week!!! Simon really loves the sweet picture of Joanie. He hopes next time he’s feeling under the weather, she will play nurse to him!!

    1. She would love to be Simon;s nurse, but she doesn’t want him to be sick. XO

  15. Lovely art, Etsy has some very amazing shops. I think that there are many talented people walking around on this planet.
I hope you feel well soon and I think Brody and Joannie are wonderful nurses.
