Happy Halloween!

Hi everyone! Happy Halloween! Thank you for all who made guesses in our 3 day contest. And the winner is Lone Star Cats with 13 out of 14 correct. I am most impressed they knew Gremmie was Rambo ( just like in Gremlins 2).

Here are the correct answers:

Ghostbusters
A Street Cat Named Bob
Runaway Bride
Bring it On
Rambo
Toy Story
Nine Lives
Julie and Julia
O Brother Where Arte Though
Maid in Manhattan
Happy Feet or March of the Penguins
Fever Pitch
Black Panther

Bee Movie

Many of you thought Prancie might be Harry Potter because of the scarf. I actually made it for Sammy to be Harry Pawter back in 2014.

And we still have our Jack O’ Lantern from 2014 from sweet  Angel Nellie.

  1. My human says she never even heard of several of these movies! Well, the next one she’s seeing (Wednesday evening) is the Buster Keaton documentary by Pete Bogdonovich… which probably explains why she hasn’t heard of so many films.

  2. WOW!! We are impressed! That’s pawsome and concats to the Lone Star Cats!!!
You all look so good too in those costumes.
    Happy Halloween!

  3. Concatulations Lone Star Cats! That was fun……….we aren’t movie people so it was a challenge for us to even guess ONE! HAPPY HALLOWEEN……

    Hugs, Teddy and Mom

  4. Seeing you all in your costumes was such a fun and purrfect way to celebrate Halloween! You’re all downright adorable. Sammy, you made this fantasy nerd’s day with your flashback Halloween costume. Wishing you all lots of treats on this Halloween!

  5. How fun. I’ve only seen a couple of those movies, so guessing would have been most difficult for me.

Have a purrfect happy Halloween. My best to your peeps. ♥

  6. Ellen,

You gave me a good belly laugh with these photos of your kitties all dressed up. The “O’ Brother Where Art Thou” really cracked me up good! Furtastic job on the costumes and photo session(s). Thanks for the smiles and the share! 😀

  7. Yay, the two I guessed I got right. I also thought harry potter for the SCNB one, but knew that the films were over by 2016. Although Fantastic Beasts came out that year, so it could have been that I guess – although Newt is a Hufflepuff so it’s the wrong colours 😛

  8. We haven’t visited anyone much lately, but are trying to get back to everyone again. We love your costumes and can’t believe how creative you were. We would never have guess so many.

Happy Halloween! We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable night and gets lots of treats and no tricks!

  9. Those were all great – we were not very good at guessing, but it was fun to see everyone!!!

    Happy Howl-o-ween!!!

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  10. Whoa! I hardly heard of any of those movies. I was looking for one to be Carrie cos I thought I’d recognize it. Good work Lone Star Cats! Happy Howl-o-ween!

  12. What a super idea, Miss Ellen and all your pussycats were grr-eat sports at wearing those costumes. I would’ve guessed Harry Potter, too, for Prancie’s photo, ’cause of the scarf. (I luv watching HP movies with Mom.) I think my fav photo of the bunch is the Ghostbusters rendition. Tee hee hee. Paw high fives and tummy rubs for all those fun photos!

  13. Guys, I like your costumes! I know my mom is not a movie watcher any more…not for a long time. That came about because of LONG hours working a swing shift. And when off, she had all the appointments for us and herself to make and housework to catch up on and so on. Her never got to the movies any more. XXX

  14. You are so clever ! The only one I knew was Ghostbusters!
I really enjoyed all the photos though!
    Happy November!

  15. Such cool outfits! I may have guessed a couple but I’m not very good at it 🙂 I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween. I’m trying to catch up on your blog. The posts are not showing up in my Bloglovin’ reader until a few days later…for some unknown reason!
