Hi everyone! Happy Father’s Day out there to all Cat Daddies. I am a lucky kitty to have one. Here is a photo from April ( Snowball is in it too- sniff).

  Dad always shares his supper with us.

Mom is interrupting my post to list her 3 things she is thankful for today.

Thanks Phoebe, sorry to interrupt. I am thankful that I had a wonderful father.Even though he passed away in 2001, I think of him every day.

I am also thankful that my hubby is such a good cat daddy and loves them as much as I do.

I am also thankful he is an excellent gardener.He has picked over 700 spears of asparagus and lots of strawberries, I even got to freeze some.

I am happy to report I accomplished more of the challenges too- I prayed, took a nap, did a random act of kindness and I even smiled at 3 people at the mall.

  1. Happy Father’s Day! I am doing the challenges, too. I will post an update on Monday. What a great idea. We need to do it more often! I love the cougar club. We are too young here, or we would do it. Maggie is only 9! She seems older! Love you guys! ❤

    I love the pictures of the cats begging from your husband … it strikes me as so incredibly sweet – though I’m sure the kitties are all business in these cases. I remember seeing a few similar pictures before … and it seems like Joanie and Prancie are always involved 🙂

    1. Sorry Bear Cat, don’t feel bad though, we have no tortie members yet. Prancie is a pest every day so sometimes he shuts her in the bedroom so he can eat in peace. 🙂

  6. Sweetie is a fabulous kitty daddy — he was so worried about his babies while we were on vacation. When we came home he coaxed Tripod SissyCat to get out of the clothes bin and got Horizon out from under the bed (he always hides when we are gone).

    It’s a lovely idea to have a club for senior lady cats, Little Girlie is 14 and i will try to remember to join her up next year.

  12. You kitties sure have a purrfect dad, that’s for sure! Happy Father’s Day to him! And I’m quite impressed with his gardening skills. I can’t even imagine that much asparagus and strawberries, although they sound delicious. And we love the idea of The Crotchety Cougars! Angel Rosie would have loved to be part of that. My girls Thimble and Eddy are still 12 and 13 years away from the age requirement of a cougar, but we’ll be following the club’s goings-on anyway! Purrs!

  20. Happy Father’s day! I LOVE the hat! Because Amarula was a stray I have no idea how old she is but when she gets even more crotchety than usual we will join! She would look lovely in a red hat!

  49. I wish we had a girl cat old enough to join your Cougar group but BobbieSue is our oldest girl kitty but she’s only 7! However, she certainly is crotchety enough!!
