Happy Dr. Seuss Day!!!

Hi everyone. Before we get started on our Dr. Seuss post, we want to give our condolences for our friend, Spitty. He was a ladies man in the blogosphere and Emmy was honored to be one of his women. We will all miss Spitty. To visit his mom, click here.

We decided to write a poem that rhymes for Dr. Seuss Day.

 

My name is Emmy,

I am not the one with a pet Gremmie
That would be Joanie, 
she has everything except a pony.
I am Drake
I like to bake.
And you know I am Sam,
keep the green eggs, but I will take the ham.
I am Trouble, my folks call me Squeaky,
sometimes I can be a bit cheeky.
I’m the youngest, my name is Rosie
and my claim to fame is being nosey.
And I am Penny
of tips, I have plenty.
Brody is last , but not least
he would love to have a feast.

  13. Great post. Love the idea of each of your kitties writing their own line in the poem. Glad to see you in cyberspace. My Dr Seuss link is not so humorous – it’s about the Dr Seuss Museum – but it’s a good time to get back to doing some blog hopping. Many purrs.
