Hi everyone! Do you get mean when you are hungry? Mom says I get Hangry and beat up poor Prancie, I say she is hangry too-what do you think?

Notice the baseball game on in the background. Dad watches that a lot, I feel bad for Tommy John, it seems like he is always having surgery.

I got to see my Grammie on Wednesday. I love her so very much. I will see her again on Saturday too.

Joanie is a cat
she is a brat
Sure she is sweet
and very neat
but with food
she is quite rude
if you have a snack
she will give you a smack

This photo was taken in 2008, sadly I am the only one left of the bunch in this photo. My sisters, KaChoo, Lucy and Stinky have all abandoned me.

Mom asked me to give you the fill-ins for tomorrow, I think she should pay me in treats for doing that. Mom came up with the first 2 and Annie of McGuffy’s Reader came up with the second 2.

    Whapping is not too nice you know…

    We don’t have good ideas for those fillins this week, except that the petcretary is deathly scared of spiders.

    1. I think he should quit baseball. Whapping isn’t nice, but is is fun 🙂 Mom likes spiders, she has some in the bathroom.

  4. Binga gets hangry too – and she usually takes it out on Boodie. Sometimes she just beats up on Boodie for no reason. But they are still friends. I don’t get it either.

  7. UHOH…….I don’t have to get hangry because I’m the only one who gets the food served to him here so no competition and no problems! Yes I’m spoiled – so?????? That’s a good photo of your feets Joanie AND I also just love the poem that’s ALL ABOUT YOU!

  8. You’re not alone, Phoebe. Some of the kitties in this house can get intensely hangry, too. And it often looks a lot like you and Prancie there.

    I love your poem! Although, what does Joanie think of it?

  14. Oh yes, our Sophie gets hangry all the time. I’ve even seen it happen to Dexter once or twice. But not our sweet little Olive. I love Joanie’s poem.

  16. Hmmm…. I don’t think this is confined to cats & do think my husband qualifies. (he has hypoglycemia) Whenever he starts acting grumpy, I give him something to eat and he is fine, again.

    1. I agree, my sister is hypoglycemic and look out when she is hungry. I do joke that Phoebe gets low blood sugar.

  17. I think that is an excellent poem! And why not be hangry…it’s time for food, right? Chuck and Angel do the same thing; they start a fight just so their humans know it’s time to fill up the bowls!

  28. We dont get “hangry”, we just get beggy. But when the can is actually opened, we sometimes get wrassly with each other in excitment. Mostly Iza and me, but sometimes Marley and Iza. I never wrassle with Marley; its just pointless! ~ AYLA
