My Answers:
1. The best part of last week was Sammy’s heartworm antigen test being negative
( although, I pan to get another one in a few months and an x-ray just in case a heartworm survives to adulthood).
2. The worst part of last week was worrying about Sammy.
3. Decluttering is a Winter project that I will be working on. I know I always write about decluttering and I start, but then life gets in the way. My husband is not very cooperative in this area either.
4. A holiday gift that I always buy for someone is a Fontanini nativity piece for my husband’s sister. We have been adding to her collection for 25 years, I had no idea there were that many people in Bethlehem.

  1. Worrying about our babies is never easy but I am so glad Sammy is okay. My husband and I spent 3-4 months clearing out 24 y ears of stuff in our home. We are ready to move now and have no clutter. It was a massive undertaking though. LOL!

  2. Great Fill Ins. We always enjoy them. We’re glad Sammy is clear of the antigens and understand the worrying. Love your pretty red dress Emmy. ❤️?☃️

  3. We were super happy about Sammy’s test results too…….we know that was scary. Decluttering is on my Mom’s list too…..I think it’s a good winter project – too cold to go outside so why not do inside stuff? Mom’s kitchen cabinets are pitiful so that’s #1 for her. Happy Friday to all!

    Hugs, Teddy

  4. Glad Sammy is doing well, loving Emmy in her dress, and i had to laugh so hard when i read your comment about Bethlehem, i’m glad i wasn’t drinking anything at that moment. Hope you have a fabulous Friday!

  5. Yes to #1! So happy for Sammy. I had to laugh at the Bethlehem comment, too! Emmy looks so pretty in her dress. I used to sell Fontanini nativity pieces when I worked in a small gift store… I miss those days. The nativity pieces flew out the door along with, Beanie Babies, and Department 56 Christmas Villages. Okay, here are my Fill-ins…
    1. The best part of last week was having our Christmas lunch with dear friends.
    2. The worst part of last week was having to go to the dentist but all was good!
    3. Trying to eat as many grouper sandwiches and get my feet wet in the ocean is a Winter project that I will be working on.
    4. A holiday gift that I always buy for someone is a gift card for flowers to buy in the Spring.
Thank you for letting me do Fill-ins here. Enjoy your Friday!

    1. Thank you for your answers, I enjoyed them. I am glad you got to have lunch with friends. Also glad your dentist apt. went well. Mine wasn’t – I need some expensive deep cleaning 🙁 Good luck with your winter goals. And that is a great idea for a gift to give someone something to look forward to. Have a nice weekend! XO

  6. I’m right there with you on the third fill-in! My husband just contributes to the clutter. He’s got an eighteen inch stack of magazines that just keeps getting moved around. ~sigh~ Amusingly, when I read the questions yesterday I read that third as ‘writer’, not ‘winter’. How funny is that? Guess you can tell my focus this season. Love that dress!

  7. Good news on the test results! Have a lovely day- we are constantly decluttering-it is a challenge! Have a lovely weekend!

  8. Worrying about our furbabies is certainly one of the worst feelings ever. I am so happy that Sammy’s antigen test came back negative. And I am doing a lot of decluttering this winter, too. It looks like such a daunting task at first, but after you start making progress it feels wonderful. Happy Friday!

  9. LOL, my husband is a mega ‘clutter-bug’, so IF I got serious about decluttering, 99% of what I’d get rid of would be his stuff…. NOT WISE!
Of course, if he decided to declutter, I imagine he’d toss my fabric, yarn and collection of cake pans and that would be equally infuriating.
Thus, we agree to sort out our own clutter.
    Merry Christmas!

    1. I agree we should clear our own clutter -if only hubby would actually do that. 🙂

  10. We can’t help but worry! I’m glad Sammy’s test results came back negative. Decluttering is a huge chore if you take on too much. Sometimes a little at a time is less overwhelming. One blogging friend wrote about placing a box near the front door and adding an item (or items) to it whenever she left the house. When it gets full, she donates it. Of course, this is not always easy with cats in the house. They claim the box as their own! 🙂

  11. I was looking at dog clothes yesterday, but didn’t find anything that was small enough for any of my kitties…darn it! Cute dress, Emmy! Glad you can relax now about Sammy.

  12. We’re glad you got good news about Sammy! I’ve been in the process of pitching and decluttering since The Boy moved in. If I take on too much at a time I get overwhelmed – so it’s been a bit slow – especially because I’m not always in the mood to clean out.

    1. It is hard to get in the mood to declutter, but once you do it makes you want to keep doing it- at least it does to me 🙂

  13. What a cute Christmas dress! Did you make it? After seeing all those figurines in St. Pat’s last year, I’d have to say there are many pieces left to go! MOL!

  14. Hi There,

  16. Re #4: When you get to the “Old Guy at the edge of town who yells ‘get off my dirt yard, you kids’ ” you are probably running out of significant characters… LOL! ~ TBT

  17. MOL Oh awnty Ellen, mommy is rollin’ in da floor with tears in her eyes. No idea there was dat many peeps in Bethlehem. MOL Emmy looks very purretty. Big hugs

  18. Really pleased that Sammy had good test results.
I love that you’ve been adding to your sister-in-law’s nativity for 25 years – that’s such a nice family tradition.
Hope your week is a lovely on.

  19. Emmy you make a sweet Mrs Claws!!

    1. The best part of last week was good weather on my days off.
    2. The worst part of last week was having to work the weekend and being ‘staff challenged’.
    3. Cleaning this den out properly is a Winter project that I will be working on…hopefully; hah!

    4. A holiday gift that I always buy for someone is chocolate letters of their initials. That is a Dutch tradition:) .

    1. Thank you for your answers, I enjoyed them. Sorry you were short on staff at work 🙁 I hope to do a lot of cleaning this Winter too. I learned something new, I was not aware of that tradition.
