Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone!   I am joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful that I only had to wear this elf costume for 2 minutes.

Here is my Poem for Sammy’s Poetry Day featuring the letter Z.

I feel like I live in a zoo
if you lived here, you’d feel that way too.
There is Joanie the monkey
Piggy Brody is chunky.
Emmy looks like a skunk
Sammy thinks he is a hunk
We even have a Polar Bear
Ugh! I think I need some fresh air.

On Sunday I am having a Grumpy Giveaway so be sure to check it out.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for Friday. Mom came up with the first two and Annie of McGuffy’s Reader came up with the second two.

1. The best part of last week was _______________________.

2. The worst part of last week was ____________________.

3.                               is a Winter project that I will be working on.

4. A holiday gift that I always buy for someone is                           .

  1. A totally epic “Z” poem if ever there was one!!!! Fabulous………well done and a perfect ending to the alphabet poem challenge……can’t wait to see what you all do with the PHOTO POEM…..tee hee……….I think you look adorables in your elf hat but I’m also glad it’s on YOU and not ME!

    Love, Teddy

  2. Only 2 minutes? But you look so cute…. that poem was quite a tell-all, you’d better hope no one else decides to write a poem about you.

  3. We think you make the cutest elf, Prancie. The only furbabies here who will willingly wear a costume are pup Astrid and housemate Toby. Maybe you could give Evan, Thimble, and Eddy lessons on costume etiquette, Prancie? And this is one of our favorite poems that you’ve written. It’s too cute!

  4. That is such a cute and funny poem, Prancie! You look adorable in your elf costume, and I love the raised paw. 🙂

  5. shop vac…dood !!! total lee awesum way ta finish out de poemz..Z rocked N sew due ewe in yur hat….hope yur feelin aye oh kay soooper grate ~ 🙂 ♥♥

  6. Prancie, you had the same idea for a poem that we did. You were one of those multi-cat homes we we referring to in our post. You make a truly adorable elf! Mom says that she hopes she can do the fill-ins as she doesn’t even remember last week. MOL XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  7. Even though The Tribe of Five has announced a “no costume” policy I have to say you look pretty cute in that hat. And two minutes is just about as long as Oliver can keep his collar on, he’s the Hairy Houdini of collar wearing cats!
    :Purrs & Head Bonks,

  8. Whoa! You made fun of everybuddy in that poem. Good going. The fill-ins were hard this week, at least the last two. Cats don’t give gifts.

  9. Smmy you DO look purrty kewl inn thee Elf costume butt wee not tell anyone OK?
