- I would like to interview Nicolas Cage ( you knew that, didn’t you?)
- I would like to be interviewed by Marc Maron on his podcast. He has rescued many cats and is a funny comedian.
- Halloween night, I will go over to my niece’s with my mom to see the “great one” in her costume, she chose an elephant costume 🙂
- Once Halloween is over, I will be at the stores looking for half off decorations to add to my collection.
We are also joining Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.
I have been working on dressing all the cats up in Halloween costumes. Can you guess what Joanie is supposed to be?
We actually live very near Marc Maron! He is the next neighborhood over from us. My human really wants to be interviewed by him too (for her Rescued books), and has been trying to figure out a way to make that happen.
That is so cool!
That is so cool! I hope your human can work out a way for him to interview her for the Rescued books.

1. I would like to interview someone famous in the musical world or a teacher of music.
2. I would like to be interviewed by someone who has immigrated from another country to the USA…like I have.
3. Halloween is quiet here…we go to church, and no one comes to our door anyway cause we live semi rurally.
4. Once Halloween is over, I will be so happy…and then I can get ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas. .
Thank you for these great answers. I have a question for you, when you immigrated to the USA, did you have to take any classes to become a citizen? I am just curious. XO
No, I did not take classes…and I am still not a citizen even after all these years…I am a resident alien…see my antennae, MOL! Anypaws, I have a green card. A permanent one. And BTW, it isn’t even green, MOL!!!
Nowadays those cards are much harder to obtain, and they need to be renewed every ten years. I got in before they made that rule:)
At least in Canada, someone with similar status is called a landed immigrant. Much more welcoming sounding!!
I am glad you have a permanent green card. I was just curious bout the classes. That does sound more welcoming 🙂
An elephant costume sounds like such fun, i hope you can post a picture.
Half price decor for next year is smart!
If her mother lets me post a photo, I will. 🙂
I know – I know – what Joanie is dressed up as but I won’t give it away! I can’t wait for you to show us The Great One in her elephant costume – I bet it’s adorable. I hope you and Nic Cage can “find each other” one day….what an epic meeting that would be (wink).
Love, Pam (with Teddy’s snoopervision)
Thank you, I hope I get to meet him someday. XO and love to you both
Joanie, you look terrific but we have no idea what you are. But we just know you will be a hit. Hope the Mom gets her interview with Nic Cage. You all have a fantastic day.
wel
Thank you 🙂 XO
I knew you’d go for Nicolas Cage! I love elephants, and your great-niece is bound to be adorable. And you sound like me, heading off to the store after a holiday to get some good deals. That’s the way to do it!
I hope I get some decorations if there are any left.
I bet “great one” will be adorable in the elephant costume!
I have no idea what Joanie is supposed to be but looking very cute 🙂
Thank you 🙂
The great one will be so cute as an elephant! Joanie sure looks adorable even though I don’t know what she’s dressed up as. Good idea in hitting up the sales!
Thank you. 🙂 XO
I think I know what Joanie is supposed to be… are we not supposed to give it away! She looks darling! I KNEW it was going to be Nicholas Cage that you would like to interview!!!! The great one will be darling in her elephant costume.
I would like to interview Bob the Cat… or just hold him, pet him, scritch him, whatever he would be comfortable with me doing… 🙂
I would like to be interviewed by… I don’t know, I am kinda shy.
Halloween night we will be watching TV as usual. No trick or treats out in our bit of country.
Once Halloween is over I will be enjoying the fall days leading up to my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving.
Bob the Cat is a great choice, he does look like a sweetheart. I look forward to Thanksgiving too. Yes, you can say what you think Joanie is.
I have no idea what Joanie is supposed to be, but I’m very old. Just saying.
I love your Friendly Fill-ins. Lots of folks go for the half off decorations after a holiday.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and an even better weekend. My best to your peeps. ☺
Thank you. I hope you have a great weekend too. XO
Not surprised at your choice of Nicholas Cage 😉
Happy Halloween!
Trixie, Caspurr and Shimshi
PS. Joanie looks very cute in her costume. Is she meant to be a jockey?
Thank you. She is a fisher woman 🙂

I will :)XO
I would like to interview Matt Kenseth, my favorite Nascar driver. I would like to be interviewed by Robin Roberts, she seems like a nice person! 🙂
On Halloween, we will hide in the house with all the lights turned off, so we can keep all the candy for ourselves. Ha ha, just kidding! We live so rurally, we don’t get any trick or treaters anyway.
Once Halloween is over, we’ll be at the stores looking for the candy that is on sale!
We enver get trick or treaters either, but we always have candy- for us 🙂 Robin Roberts does seem very nice.
Joanie looks just as happy about modeling as Phoebe! She’s adorable though …
I really like Nicolas Cage too … he seemed to almost disappear for a little while – but Lord of War is one of my favorites based just on his acting 🙂
He is still in a lot of stuff, but it is so bad it goes right to dvd. My favorites are Peggy Sue Got Married and Family Man. 🙂
NIcholas Cage? We never would have guessed! *giggle* Is Joanie a fisherman?
🙂 Yes, well, a fisherwoman.
You look adorable sweet Joanie!
Thank you 🙂
Fun answers as always! I suspected Nicolas Cage but wasn’t sure. Just kidding! LOL
🙂
joanie….ewe lookz gorgeouz aza gorton’s fisher man……we iz sew late two day with any kinda commintz….. itz stoooooopid….az iz de FSG place oh employ thiz week ~~~~~~~~~ faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa 🙂 ♥♥♥
You are very clever 🙂 She is a Gorton’s fisher woman-MOL!
Joanie está fantasiada de pescador?
Cafunés!!!
Thank you 🙂
We heard a rumor your mom kinda likes Nic C. 🙂
Just a little 🙂 MOL!
I’ll have to check out Marc Maron. I’d like to interview the band Palaye Royale. I swear those talented guys should pay me. I’m a shameless promoter. I actually gave one of their stickers phlebotomist who drew my blood this afternoon. ~grin~ I’m ashamed to say I don’t know what that cute costume represents, beyond someone fishing on a rainy day. It’s adorable, though. Be well!
That is nice of you to do free PR for Palaye Royale. 🙂
I am guessing Joanie is the overworked wife that has to debone the fish and cook the sucker for the family. Am I right?
Kali
That is a good guess, but sorry, not right 🙂
My guess is Carol Burnett’s washerwoman, how adorbs. I’d be afraid to interview Nicolas Cage. I think I’d like to interview an old theatre teacher I had in school, he was a hoot and let us smoke and drink coffee in class. I wouldn’t like to be interviewed by anyone, I have and feel obligated to do it if anyone asks but don’t like it. Halloween night I’d like to get some early pictures at Freakfest before the streets close and it gets too crowded. Once Halloween is over I want to start digging out Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations so I can leave them out in a corner and ignore them for a month.
That is an interesting guess, I had forgotten about The Carol Burnett show.:)
Great idea on #4…although I’ve already picked up most of what I want this year. I’ve found that if I snooze, I lose! LOL
Thank you, yes, I have missed out on a lot when I wait for sales.
wow i had never heard of Marc Maron –thanks for the intro!
I think you will like him 🙂
Well, Nic Cage. Go figure. *wink* I hope you get to meet him someday. Really.
Joanie reminds me of a Seuss-like Gorton’s fisherman! She is adorable. HUGS.
Thank you, I hope I do too. 🙂 Good guess, she is a Gorton’s fisherwoman with her pink trim. XO
Well Joanie, I embigified your photo, and looking it over…and have NO idea what it is! And here is a question to your mom: has she ever tried to ask Nic Cage for an interview? One never knows…he’s a big cat fan, and maybe he’d be delighted! Worth a try, in my book.
That is a good idea. I never did ask for an interview. I did write to some company that supposedly handles his PR and stuff. I offered to donate $1,000 to a charity of his choice to get to meet him, but they never responded 🙁
TW is right with you with after Halloween (and every other holiday) sales only she’ll go after the candy. MOL! TW’s idol who she had a major crush on once axed if she wanted to innerview him and she got all tongue tied and stammered no. She wasn’t do innerviews at the time so she would have had an exclusive.
I get mad at stores like Target that only offer 30 % off instead of 50% off. That is too bad TW didnt do the interview.
No surprise on your #1. If Walmart still has Hammies, we might buy another backup skull. We have Yorick already. I guess the kitty is a fishergirl. Have a great weekend.
I hope you don’t need a backup for Hammie 🙂 I hope you have a nice weekend too.
Hmmm, I’m having a hard time figuring out what Joanie is, but it must be something to do with fish.
Yes, a Gorton’s Fisherwoman.
Joanie looks like she is saying, “I can’t play. These are my good clothes.” and you know she will pounce as soon as your back is turned, lol.
MOL 🙂
I knew that. That would be a great interview to watch, too!
How cool that your niece chose an elephant costume. I love elephants. They run in the family. 🙂
Have a blessed weekend.
I hope you had a nice weekend.
Great choice in Nicholas Cage – gorgeous and intriguing. An elephant sounds like a great costume – I’m usually very boring and go for easy things like witches.
Have a great week.
Thank you, I have been a fan of Nic Cage’s since 1985.Have a great week too!
So cute. Our kitties do not like dressing up.
Most of mine don’t like to be dressed up either, but they tolerate it.
Hi Miss Ellen. Did you get a pic with the “great one” in her elephant costume? You and Mom think alike ’cause she plans to look for decorations on sale to after All Hallows Eve! I told her they need to be cat themed. Tee hee hee. My Friday fill-in answers:
1. I would like to interview Grumpy Cat
2. I would like to be interviewed by Modern Cat magazine
3. Halloween night I will be the door greeter.
4. After Halloween I will sleep off the happenings of the busy night before.
Thank you for these great answers. I did get a photo of the great one, but I don’t post photos of her online. I hope your mom found some cat themed items, I didn’t find anything except butterfingers for my hubby. Thank you for these great answers- I think Modern Cat should interview you. XO
