Hi everyone! Today is the official Tocktober day, but we are waiting until Sunday to show the rest of our tocks. We will give a sneak preview though. Whose tock is this?

1. If I was a ghost, I would haunt everyone I love. I would be a friendly ghost, like a guardian angel ghost.
2. I always burn myself when I use my glue gun.
3. My favourite scary story is The Legend of Sleepy Hollow ( the tv show was pretty good too).
4. I will be so glad when my cats stop fighting.Lately, Sammy and Emmy are mean to each other and to Joanie, Brody and Prancie.
We are also joining Feline Friday which is currently being hosted by Comedy Plus.

    I have to find our glue gun. I could use it on some projects. It is probably in the workshop.

    1. I am sure you have some angels, we all do, but I will be sure to visit if I am an angel first.
      Glue guns are handy. I hope my kitties start behaving. I feel bad for Joanie, everyone picks on her. XO

  3. It’s not fun to have cats fighting each other. Some of mine do not get along, so i keep them separated.

    Glue guns are great tools, but i understand what you mean about how a burn is almost inevitable.

    The Disney cartoon of Sleepy Hollow scared me so much when i was a child i had a hard time enjoying the story when i was old enough to read it.

    1. Some of mine are separated, I am out of spaces so these 5 need to get along 🙂

  5. I picked The Legend of Sleepy Hollow too–and I always manage to get burned when I touch a glue gun. Maybe that’s why I have never really enjoyed doing crafty things!

    So sorry you have cats fighting. I know you don’t and we don’t want any kitties being mean to each other but some cats seem to be a little cranky with each other.
    If I was a ghost I would haunt my PE teacher from high school.
    I always want a CHEESEBURGER when we eat out!
    My favorite scary story is Love at First Bite with George Hamilton. It isn’t very scary at all… I love it and try to watch it every Halloween.
    I will be so glad when fall comes to stay and we see peak colors.

    1. Thank you for your fill-in answers. I always get a cheeseburger too 🙂 That is a good idea, I had a gym teacher from elementary school that needs a haunting. I have never seen Love at First Bite. We are still waiting for our peak colors too. Have a nice weekend!

    I like your idea of being a guardian angel ghost. We could all use one of those! I really like that you chose The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. I read that for the first time ever just a couple years ago. Before that, I had always been afraid to read it because a couple people I knew had told me it was boring. They were wrong, and I really enjoyed it. And I hope your kitties stop fighting for you soon! I know what it’s like to simply wish they all just got along. Sometimes my girls Thimble and Eddy scuffle, and my parents have one cat whom all their other kitties pick on for no reason that we can determine.

  14. We love your fill in answers, especially Number 1. Our mom would do the very same thing. We hope the fighting stops, soon. Lexy and I used to fight ALL THE TIME and it was stressful. Now we’re OK.

  16. I burn myself just about every time I cook. And I don’t even bother trying to iron anymore either. I’m sorry the cats are fighting. I know how that goes. After I adopted Bear, he and Kitty were always fighting – and everyone was miserable. Bear and Ellie have never been that bad – but I’ve lost a lot of sleep sleeping in such a way that I can hop up at any moment to break up a fight. At first, I thought Bear was always the aggressor – but then I noticed that Ellie was pestering him – and he ignored her for a little while before having enough. Bear used to misbehave for attention – and now, I’ve noticed he occasionally starts a fight with Ellie for the same reason. Then again, with the addition of Emmy and loss of Phoebe, the kitties might just be reacting to the new reality. Things between our two have gotten better over time – I hope the same is true in your house too.

    1. Thank you. I hope Bear and Ellie calm down too. Have you tried Feliway plug-ins or calming collars? They do work —for a while, not as lojng as they are supposed to though 🙂

  18. I sure hope the fighting comes to a halt. That is upsetting. Oh, I have a fun old version of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow featuring Jeff Goldblum. Is that the show you mention? I also liked the Johnny Depp movie – very creepy. Christopher Walken as the horseman was brilliant. Happy early Halloween!

    1. I didn’t know there was a version with Jeff Goldblum. I liked Johnny Depp’s version a lot. I was referring to the tv show that was on for a few years and just ended in May.

    Burning yourself reminds me of a good friend of mine, we call him U. J. in the stories, to protect the innocent. U. J. is an outstanding electronics tech. He can do just about anything with wires and computers.

    However, when he goes to use a soldering iron, the man can’t remember to grab the end that isn’t hot.

  29. Oh awnty Ellen, we’re so sorry to hear ’bout da meanness goin’ on. Ya’ know, weather changes and moon phases also have an effect on kitties. Much in da same way sa humans. After all, all livin’ beings are made up of water. Any imbalance can effect behavior. We’re sendin’ hugs and purrayers fur all.

  30. Your #1 fill-in is purrfect! Do you think Phoebe becoming an angel changed the dynamic and that is why the other kitties are fighting? Hope you can find the solution for this.   32. My daughter thinks she’s seen Parker’s spirit around our house. A brown paper bag moving on its own or feeling him at her head when she’s settling into sleep. I think if I were a ghost, I would want be a good one who watches over and maybe helps my loved ones when they need it–just as you suggested. I hope you have a great week, Ellen!

  33. I love that so many of us would be nice ghosts looking out for others. I like to think that our previous pets are still with us at times. I have a fear of being a disaster with a glue gun so haven’t bought one yet.

    Your response to #1 as a friendly, guardian angel ghost is a good. I was thinking about that as a possibility for an answer but then I thought would those I love to see me as friendly or spooky? I think I’d be scared if someone I loved came back to me as a ghost. 🙂 I used to get hot glue gun burns frequently when I did a lot of crafting years ago, so I can relate. I had forgotten about “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”. That was a good old classic that I enjoyed hearing on Halloween night. 🙂 Thanks for dropping by. I’m playing catch up this morning.
