Hi everyone! Time for Friendly Fill-Ins, don’t forget to add your link at McGuffy’s Reader. You can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate.

1. My idea of roughing it is__________________________________.

2.I never get sick of talking about ______________________________.

3. My youth                              .

4. My “golden years”                               .
My answers:
1. My idea of roughing it is when the power goes out ( despite the fact that we have a generator).
2. I never get sick of talking about CATS ( you knew that though) 🙂
3. My youth was a complete waste- I didn’t have a cat until I got married and that is when my life really started.
4. My “golden years” are something I have not even thought about, I try to live in the now and rarely think of the past or the future.
I finally got a good shot of Millie’s eyes, he has a blue one and a green one, but the blue ends up red in most photos.

  1. So, did your life start with the cat or the husband? *wink* My first dog, Velvet, was 12 when I got married. Bill adopted her. They were close.
You are so busy! You will never even notice your golden years.
Check out my 58 Things post today. Thanks for all that you do. HUGS!

    1. I am not telling ( wink, wink). 🙂
I love your 58 post and I am sorry I didn’t properly wish you a Happy Birthday. XO

  2. Good filling in today! I’m like you – live in the moment – the past is done and the future isn’t happening YET. Love the photo of Millie – nice that she cooperated in showing her SPECIAL eyes!

    Hugs, Pam

  3. Great answers, and i haven’t had a cat with each eye a different color, although i’ve seen them. We did have a cat that each eye was green inside and yellow outside. You had to look close to see that, though.

  4. We sure do think a lot alike sometimes! I was lucky enough to share my life with furbabies essentially from birth. I can thank my parents for that. And I love your way of thinking for #4. It is so wise to live in the now, rather than in the past or future. Thank you for hosting this challenge! I always look so forward to it.

    1. Thank you. You were very lucky to have grown up with cats. I always enjoy your answers, I am glad you participate.

  5. How nice to see Millie! What a cute face! Love those eyes!

I’m with you on #1. We’re the same for #2. No surprise! I think that’s a wise approach on #4. I try to do the same, especially not dwelling on the past.

    1. Thank you. They are handy in the country so we can flush and get water.

    1. Thank you. I used to have 2 like that until last week. 🙁 Snowball had one blue and one yellow eye.

  6. BobbieSue is positively swooning over that photo of Millie!!! His eyes are GORGEOUS!!! she want that photo on the sidebar of the blog – its so lovely!!
Love to all of you kitties!!! Toby

    1. Millie is blushing, he says he would love for her to diplay his photo. XO and love to you all with special kitty kisses from Millie to BobbieSue.

  7. Milles eyes are fascinating and cool! Enjoyed your Fill-ins and love #4. I do try to live in the moment… I have to keep reminding myself. I love how confident you are about it!
My idea of roughing it is being without A/C… I need my cool!
I never get tired of talking about cats and horses.
My youth was a roller coaster of emotion.
My “golden years” are here. I am working on them… 🙂 They are a bit of a roller coaster, too 🙂

    1. No a/c is tough too, ours wasn’t working on the 2 hot days we had 2 weeks ago and it was tough- luckily it is fixed now. Horses are nice too. Just enjoy the roller coaster ride 🙂

  8. I’m in my golden years and they are most wonderful. My life has been most wonderful. I wasted years have make me what I am today. That’s my take anyway.

Have a fabulous day. Scritches to all the kitties. ☺

  9. Millie is a cutie! After spending over five days with no electricity a few months ago, my threshold for roughing it is much lower than it used to be, and we actually had some fun during that cold time as there was no TV to distract us. Then again, we went to bed just after 9pm…LOL!

  10. I’m totally with you on the power going out! We didn’t have a generator at our last house, and I’m lost without power. Our new house has a generator and I don’t think we’ve lost power at all in the year we’ve now lived here!

  11. That is a beautiful picture of Millie! In most (if not all) of the pictures I’ve seen of him, he’s had one red eye and one green one. Around Christmas I thought you were being festive 🙂 But he’s a handsome boy! I agree about being without power and never getting tired of talking about cats 🙂

    1. Thank you, that blue eye always shows red when the flash hits it. I need photography lessons.

  12. I think it is cool that Millie has a blue eye and a green eye. 🙂

I am also glad that you are now able to have cats.

I don’t like it when the power goes out either, especially when it happens at night. That is really scary.

Have a blessed Memorial Day weekend. 🙂

    1. Thank you. My parents liked cats so I don’t know why we never had them.

  13. It really is roughing it when the power goes out…just ask the kids! 😉

I like the way you think in regards to your golden years – that’s kinda where I’m at, too. 🙂 Have a great weekend – thanks so much for hosting!

  14. Getting back into the swing of visiting and stuff.
    1. My idea of roughing it is having to eat chicken TW cooks herself.
    2. I never get sick of talking about my stunningness.
    3. My youth was scary until I moved into the condo.
    4. My “golden years” what golden years? Is someone going to give me bling?

    1. Thank you for these wonderful answers. I love to hear of your stunningness. XO

  15. We don’t have a generator. Electricity and phone service here in Gulf Coast Texas is not all that reliable. You would think we lived in a third world country.

  16. Millie is handsome! Love that he has odd eyes…not odd like weird, but odd as in unmatched:)

    1. My idea of roughing it is camping in a trailer camper, not a tent if you don’t mind. Tents are ‘ugh’ to me…
2.I never get sick of talking about my kitties and my dog, or those of my family and friends.
    3. My youth was mostly wonderful, although there was a lot of sibling rivalry. I am the middle child…but now us three are quite close, esp me and my older sister. My brother is far away, but we chat when we can. (If I was at my sister’s this week instead of a few weeks ago, I would be able to see him…but I didn’t know he would be there till after I was there…sigh…) .

    4. My “golden years” are every day…since after having had stage three cancer and all the surgery (5) and treatments for that, I am cancer free, and healthy and able to work. Each day is a blessing and a golden treasure to be discovered . .

    1. Snowball had unmatched eyes too 🙁 Thank you for your fill-ins answers, I would camp in a camper only if there was a bathroom. I get up a few times a night and wouldn’t want to have to go outside 🙂
I am glad you had a nice childhood and are still close to your siblings. I know you told me you had cancer, but I didn’t realize how many surgeries you had and that is was stage 3, you are an amazing woman. XO
