Hi everyone. Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.
1. ______________________is my favorite Christmas song.
2. ________________________________is a Christmas decoration that I treasure.
3. Though ’tis the season for _________, I much prefer _________.
4. If I could create a new Christmas tradition, it would be _________.
My answers:
1. Happy Xmas by Sarah McLachlan is my favorite Christmas song. I like John and Yoko’s version too. I do not like writing Xmas- I never take Christ out of Christmas, but that is how the song is spelled.
2. Red Riding Hood Christmas lights from my childhood is are a Christmas decoration that I treasure. They were missing for years, but I found them when my childhood home was sold in 2003.
3. Though ’tis the season for Christmas, I much prefer Halloween. You all knew that though.
4. If I could create a new Christmas tradition, it would be rescuing a cat from a shelter every year.
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi.
My flashback is from December 2017. Angel Prancie was helping her dad wrap gifts.

Darling picture of Angel Prancie! XO
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Would love to see the lights! And yes, find a kitty a home would be a great Christmas act.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
That blue wrapping paper went very well with Angel Prancie’s orangenesws! What a sweet memory!
1. ______________________is my favorite Christmas song. THat is a hard one for me…There are SO many that I love, it’s too hard to choose one over another…
2.My drummer/nutcrackers are my Christmas decorations that I treasure…plus some hand made angels given to me by a friend.
3. Though ’tis the season for cold and snow to bring on the Christmas Cheer I much prefer warmer weather…though not hot. When we would go to DC for the holidays, it was often just jacket weather, no mitts or boots needed!.
4. If I could create a new Christmas tradition, it would be to have a sing-a-long Messiah in our own town They used to have them where I lived before getting married, also in Toronto, which was close enough to my parent’s home to go to those too.,.
Yes, it did. 🙂 Thank you for these great answers. That sounds like a nice tradition to start. XO
Great fill ins. I agree with you, I always write Christmas in full. A sweet flashback of Angel Prancie.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Sweet photo of Angel Prancie helping wrap gifts – Teddy pays no attention to me even with all that crunchy paper and ribbon – he just watches from afar! Those Red Riding Hood Christmas lights are amazing – I’ve never seen those…..We agree about using the term “Xmas” – it’s always bothered me too!
Hugs, Pam
Thank you. 🙂 Teddy knows Santa is watching. 🙂 XO
Those little red riding hood ornaments are so special. I’m glad you found them when you did.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
A sweet picture of Angel Prancie, and I love the Happy Xmas song too. My favorite Christmas decorations are wooden handmade ornaments that I bought in Helen, GA, years ago. I prefer Halloween too.
Thank you. 🙂 Glad you prefer Halloween too. XO
1. O Little Town of Bethlehem is one of my most favorites with O Holy Night right there with it.
2. My treasured ornament is a rubber star (of all things) made by my oldest in Kindergarten. Heavy, I guess! Used to fall off or weight the top branch over!
3. It’s the season for Christmas, and there is no other time I enjoy more.
4. If I could create a new Christmas tradition it would be visiting best friends and their famiies on the day…just a short visit each to say Merry Christmas and give and receive some friendly hugs.
Thank you for these great answers. I like that tradition and wish you could visit us. XO
I agree with you about CHRISTmas. Never Xmas.
Thank you. 🙂

Charlee: “Our Dada doesn’t really collect Christmas music but he likes the song ‘It’s Christmastime’ by Plumb. Whoever that is. He loves Sarah McLachlan too so he would probably like her ‘Happy Xmas’ song if he ever listened to it.”
Chaplin: “He also claims to consider the song ‘Envy’ by Digital Daggers to be a Christmas song, but we’ve heard it and he is probably wrong about that.”
Oona: “Angel Prancie, are you about to push a Christmas present off the table or bed? Oona approves!”
I haven’t heard of those songs. I have to look them up.
The pic of Angel Prancie is so sweet. Great fill ins.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
1. My Favourite Time if year by the Florin street Band is my favorite Christmas song.
