Hi everyone! Thank you all for the prayers for Brody. He had his echocardiogram, but the place we went has an odd system. The cardiologist does the exam and writes up notes then the internist is supposed to call within 48 hours.

Typhoid Mary is feeling better. Thank you to all who wrote they hoped she feels better.

Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1. I never know which kind of food Joanie will want. I have 3 different kinds of dry to offer her. Canned food has always made her vomit.
2. I know I should exercise, but I don’t want to.
3. Is it strange that I enjoy playing with toys like my Potato Head collection?
4. Dusting is my least favorite chore to do.

My flashback is from last November. Angel Emmy posing with the mouse I gave her for going to the vet. I gave her a toy every time she had to go because she loved toys.

  1. It’s good that Typhoid Mary feels better! Interesting system at the vets’. Could be that it’s a good thing, maybe they pool their knowledge of Brody’s health. More purrs for a good report. Sweet picture of Angel Emmy! XO

    I hope Brody will get a favorable report after that echocardiogram.
    I am with you on #2 as well.

    1. I never know what ti expect when I go to work after having a string days off. working only two days a week, leaves gaps, and things can really change with the seniors there.
    2. I know I should be better at doing housework, but I don’t want to.
    3. Is it strange that I enjoy mostly only classical music?
    4. Housecleaning is my least favorite chore to do.

Well, mama says to try Pahla B on YouTube…She thinks you would like exercise with Pahal because Pahla is only 20 minutes or so and talks the whole time and is funny and says you can lose weight just sleeping! haha. But to keep your heart and lungs in shape at a certain age is very important. And she has a doggie who sleeps on a chair during her exercises and kitty who wanders around…funny lady, very wise.

  8. Sweet angel Emmy. And I’m like you I certainly don’t like exercising that’s why I gave away my treadmill a couple Winters ago. But I do like walking up and down our Hills so I guess that is my exercise. Certainly hope that Brody gets good news for the both of you.

    I am glad to read that Typhoid Mary is feeling better and I am hoping that there is a good report for Brody.
    Ellen, I do not think it is strange that you like playing with the Potato Heads and toys like them. If it gives you joy, why not? It is wonderful practice for the playtime with the girls. And it also gives me joy and giggles when you do posts about them. I do not like to exercise at all unless it is cool outside and I can walk about our neighborhood… it is not often it is cool here. I am not a fan of dusting either.

    1. I never know what to fix for dinner at night. I get so tired of the “what’s for dinner?” question.
    2. I know I should get out and about more but I don’t want to.
    3. Is it strange that I enjoy vacuuming? Just two area rugs, no wall to wall carpeting.
    4. Grocery shopping is my least favorite chore to do.

    1. Thank you. I don’t mind walking in cooler weather. Thank you for these great answers. I never know what to plan for meals either. I don’t mind grocery shopping, but only out of town. I hate shopping in my town and having to talk to people. 🙂 XO

    and I have some answers today
    1) I never* know what cat is barfing (*ok maybe not NEVER)
    2) I know I should clean the house more but I don’t want to
    3) Is it strange that I enjoy reading cat blogs? (when I tell people they look at me funny …. maybe they are just looking at me funny anyway?
    4) Cleaning the blinds is my least favorite chore to do. I was going to say dusting … but blinds is worse … LOL

    oh and I like that you like to play with toys and I look forward to your photos!

  13. What a sweet photo of Angel Emmy and I hope for good test results for Brody.

    I found some easy exercises on Pinterest. I enjoy dancing and select exercises that are like dance steps. I mainly wanted to strengthen my legs since I sit too much. I’ve lost 8 lbs and I am back to a comfortable weight for me plus, I have more energy.

    I don’t like dusting either but someone has to do it. LOL

    I enjoy playing with toys especially when I am playing with Callie.

    1. I never know what food BellaDharma will eat either!
    2. I know I should try to exercise, but I don’t want to. (And my knees prevent that anyways)
    3. Is it strange that I enjoy cuddling my Stuffies? (WE LOVE your Potato Head Family!)
    4. Like you, dusting is my least favorite chore to do. (I’m pretty sure we were seperated @ birth Ellen!!! HAHAHAHA)

      I like to cuddle stuffies too. And I never get rid of any, I have all my stuffies from when I was a kid. Including the 3 I ate the fur off of. 🙂

And the following year Rene the Redhaired doll came hoem from Germany….I am NOT a Doll person but I’ve kept Rene all these years. And I DO have a Cabbage Patch doll my friend ML bought from eBay & then she made a dress & put ribbons in the hair & found a necklace with a Star of David….I treasure Serena-Rose……
