Friendly Fill-Ins Week 385

Hi everyone. Sadly, there has been another loss in the blogging world. Sweet Sage from Savannah’s Paw Tracks has left for The Bridge. My condolences to her family. To visit, click here.

Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. Before winter arrives, I need to stock up on _________________________.
2.Only _____________________ until _______________________________.
3. I was relieved to find out _________.
4. _________ was a shocker.
My answers:
1. Before winter arrives, I need to stock up on Aldi’s Cream of Broccoli soup.
2.Only 19 days until The Great One turns 8. How did that happen so fast?
3. I was relieved to find out my niece won’t let me buy The Great One a trapeze for their house. She told me she wanted one and I would have gotten it for her despite the price, but I am glad I don’t have to now as it was more than I hoped to spend.
4. The price of tickets to The Nutcracker was a shocker. My mom and I want to take the girls to it this year. One place wanted $109 a ticket with no lower price for kids. I ended up finding a place more local and got tickets for 3 adults and 2 kids forthe price of one ticket at the other place.
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi.
My flashback is from October 2019, Angel Millie was dressed at Skye from Paw Patrol.

  1. How cute to see Millie as Skye❤️

. Before winter arrives, I need to stock up on salt for th water softener so we won’t have to drag those bags on potentially slippery sidewalks.
2.Only a few more weeks till I change the numbers to my age…
    3. I was relieved to find out that I don’t have to go to a pharmacy for my flu shot since I got it at work.
    4. Too many things in the news lately were shockers.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 And thank you for these great answers. Happy early birthday. I got my flu shot today. XO

  2. Well a trapeze is not just a big expense but unless she wants to join the circus, seems like a rather unnecessary item ! LOL That’s fun that you’re all going to see The Nutcracker – that’s a fun Christmas time thing to do.

    Hugs, Pam

  3. That is a ridiculous price for tickets! Glad you were able to get them cheaper elsewhere. Angel Millie looks very cute.

  4. Angel Millie was a real cutie all dressed up. You will truly enjoy taking the girls to The Nutcracker. It’s been decades since I saw it with my mother. That happened when she used to come and visit me years ago.

  5. Millie was so precious looking there! XXX

Seems like the entertainment venues have been really gouging the consumer. I guess the excuse is not as many people go any longer.

  6. 1. Before winter arrives, I need to stock up on comfort food.
    2. Only two day until we go to the boat for a cruise with friends.
    3. I was relieved to find out that our outside kitty is warming up to us.
    4. Israel attack was a shocker.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-Ins, Ellen. Have a fabulous day and weekend. Scritches to the kitties. XO ♥

    1. Thank you for these great answers. Have fun on the boat. And I hope that kitty comes inside soon. XO

  7. Charlee: “Angel Millie! Did you just arrive in your zeppelin?”
Chaplin: “That’s a lot of money for one ticket! Our Mama and Dada are going to see a jazz band perform next month and that’s almost what they paid for both their tickets put together, and theirs includes dinner!”
Java Bean: “Did someone say dinner???”

  8. Wee are furry sorry that Sage went to Purr Land…..
You did grate Fill-Innss Aunty Ellen.
An well dun find ticketss fore all.

**nose kissess** BellaDharma an (((hugss))) BellaSita Mum

  9. I hope you all enjoy The Nutcracker! I have fond memories of seeing it performed by a professional ballet company when I was a kid.

  10. Ellen I totally understand your sticker shock.
Yesterday at the grocery store I nearly fainted when I saw a large size of Reynolds Aluminum foil was $12.99. I don’t buy foil often but it was time, always by store brand dang what the heck.

    TGO 8 no way.
    Hugs Cecilia

  11. I am glad you found some tickets at a reasonable price. The Nutcracker is a festive thing to do for the holidays. Great flashback photo of Angel Millie♥ The Cream of Broccoli soup sounds good right now.
    My Fill-Ins…
    1. Before winter arrives, I need to stock up on… I don’t think I have anything to stock up on for winter.
2.Only 48 days until hurricane season is over.
    3. I was relieved to find out the last possible storm did not become a hurricane and turned out to be a fish storm.
    4. The fact that I was looking at cats on Petfinder was a shocker.
Thank you Ellen and the Meowing Crew!

  12. Cute flashback! Prices are terrible for everything. Glad you found tickets. That will be fun taking the kids to the Nutcracker.

  13. Adorable picture! Ticket prices for everything are ridiculous now.

  14. Once they open an Aldi here, I’ll have to try that soup.

Just say no to a trapeze. She would need professional lessons, you can get hurt on those things.

Ticket prices can be high, I’m glad you found a better price.

    Angel Millie was quite handsome.

Thank you for joining Feline Friday!

    1. I hate to say no so I am glad her mom did. 🙂 You will love the soup. Thank you for the compliment on Millie. XO

  15. All the pain and suffering in this world is such a weight. Thank you for being a light in this world. ~hugs~ I’m so glad you got a deal on those tickets!
