Friendly Fill-Ins Week 379

Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. A non-monetary prize I would like to win is ___________________________.

My answers:
1. A non-monetary prize I would like to win is a Sleepypod for taking my cats to the vet.
2. If I won tickets to pretty much anything, I would give them away. Unless they were to meet Nicolas Cage.
3. I think that those who love cats should help rescue them.
4. When it comes to telling stories, I need help. I am not good with descriptions.
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi.
Back in August 2019, my Angel Sammy was enjoying his corn on the cob.

  1. OMC, a kitty who eats corn on the cob (licking butter?) and you tell a GREAT story, Ms E. Or maybe those kitties just steal your ideas….

  2. Great fill in answers! That is a sweet photo of Sammy enjoying his corn on the cob.

  3. Angel Sammy sure did love that corn on the cob……Mom and I think you’re wrong about your #4 – you are VERY VERY GOOD at telling an interesting story – your books PROVE that!

    Hugs, Teddy

    1. Thank you, but picture books have the pictures for descriptions. I wish I could write other things. XO

  4. Sweet picture of Angel Sammy♥
As Pam says, I think you have told some wonderful stories.
    My Fill-Ins~
    1. A non-monetary prize I would like to win is something I could give to a cat rescue that they could use.
    2. If I won tickets to just about anywhere, I would give them away.
    3. I think that those who live in Florida should be prepared for anything! Ha!
    4. When it comes to telling stories, I get too wordy.
Hugs and scritches to the Meowing Crew!

  5. 1. A non-monetary prize I would like to win is a Handy Man coming by whenever I need him.

    2. If I won tickets to a rap type concert, I’d give them away. That’s talking, not singing.

    3. I think that those who torture and abuse any animals should get the exact same thing happen to them, and for as long as they did it to the innocent.

    4. When it comes to telling stories, I’m good at it as long as it is writing stories instead of verbal.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I want a handy man too. 🙂 I don’t want to go to any concert- too many peope. And I agree with #3. XO

  6. 1. A non-monetary prize I would like to win is being kind.
    2. If I won tickets to any concert, I would give them away.
    3. I think that those who tell us what to do should walk their talk.
    4. When it comes to telling stories, I do fair. Not my forte.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

Have a fabulous day and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to your precious kitties. ♥

  7. Fantastic fill-ins, as always! I relate to how you answered #2 so much. I love being home, and tickets to anything that takes me from home just aren’t something I really want. And what a sweet memory of Angel Sammy! I remember thinking it was so cute when you first shared how he loved eating corn on the cob. Purrs!

  10. Awww… sweet Sammy. I know you miss him. ~hugs~ I’m kind of doubtful that you need help storytelling because you are not only a published writer but also incredibly creative. ~nods~ You don’t give yourself enough credit, my dear. Hugs to you and yours.

  11. Nice to see that photo of angel Sammy. That looks like a great ear of corn. Our corn season is much to short. We are lucky if we get three weeks of the good cirb, After that Mom says it is too tough.

    Happy weekend.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  12. Such a sweet flashback of Angel Sammy!

    1. A non-monetary prize I would like to win is a trip o see my cousins in Europe, filled by a trip to see those of familyand some good friends in the Vancouver BC area..
    2. If I won tickets to anything other than ‘classical music’ concerts, , I would give them away.
    3. I think that those who have been charged with any kind of abuse, esp animal should not be allowed to have any pets, ever, since the risk to them is too great.
    4. When it comes to telling stories, I am not the best, LOL!
