Friendly Fill-Ins Week 272

Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.
1. I used to love playing __________________ as a child.
2.When it ____________I _______________.
3. _________ was the moment I realized _________.
4. _________ is a simple pleasure that I really enjoy.
My answers:
1. I used to love playing with stuffed animals  and Weebles as a child. And I still do. 🙂
2. When it is hot and humid, I stay inside the air conditioned house.
3. When I reached 15 cats was the moment I realized I needed psychiatric help so that I wouldn’t become a hoarder. That was 11 years ago and I still go to the same therapist, but I still don’t trust myself.
4.Listening to Sammy purr at bedtime is a simple pleasure I really enjoy.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.

My flashback is from August 2017.  Angel Phoebe was checking out the tractor that belongs to the farmer who hays our fields. She used to always meow at us when we were outside and we finally figured out that she wanted to go outside with us so we would walk her in her harness and she loved it. I wish we had realized that was what she wanted sooner.  I still have her little harness dress hanging by the door.
And before we go, I want to tell you about Whiskeratti for a cat in her care. You can read all about sweet Lagniappe by clicking here.
And the GoFund by clicking here.
And for the first 3 people that donate $20, I will send you a catnip mat and some crocheted toys. Sorry, I can only afford US shipping.
Just comment on here if you qualify for the mat and toys. Thank you to all who help, just spreading the word is a big help.

  1. Happy Friday! That photo of Phoebe in her pink girlie harness is adorable. We tried to link up to the HOP but it said the LINKY was closed.

    Hugs, Teddy

  2. Love your fill-ins. A kitty hoarder. You just love your kitties. Nothing wrong with loving kitties.

Angel Phoebe was most adorable. I’m happy she had wonderful adventures outside with you.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  3. Nice fill ins I hate it when it’s humid and muggy to it’s always like that in London on a hot day 🙁

    Wow 15 heheh!

    Cute flashback too 🙂

    Have a humidlesstastic weekend 👍

  4. Another fun week of fill ins. I loved stuffed animals, too. It’s hot and humid here everyday so I’m always in the a/c house. The most cats I ever had at one time was 7, but it really is so easy to welcome them into the house. 15 is twice as many but I’m sure you loved every one of them.

    Have a great weekend!

  5. We really enjoyed your fill ins. Dad says he was worried about the same thing when we hit 7 years ago and he had to really hold back as he wanted to rescue more. 7 capped it. MOL
We did donate and actually hope there are way way more than 2 ahead of us! Thanks for the info and link we remember the Whiskeratti from years ago.
LOVED seeing Angel Phoebe in her cute dress. You love your kitties and that pours through the blog

  7. TW loves stuffies too but I don’t like when she gives them attention. I hope you can hear Sammy purring at bedtime for years to come. I know he hasn’t been very well.

  8. 1. I used to love playing house as a child. My dad fixed me up a small ‘house’ in our basement, so I could play to my hearts content and not even have to put it away when I was done.
2.When it gets to be summertime I worry about how hot it will get and how many mosquitos will attack me. Like you, I only do out there what I have to do and then come back in to the AC.
    3. When I kept getting sick and was not doing well at university; that was the moment I realized II needed to quit and go back to my career in nursing…which I did for almost ten more years until I met my hubby.
    4. Going for a walk early in the morning on a cool crisp day is a simple pleasure that I really enjoy.

    I remember those Weebles! I think I have a few in a box upstairs…
Phoebe sure enjoyed her outdoor time, didn’t she.
Thanks for the heads up about Lagniappe.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. Nursing is a tough job, I admire that you do it. The minute I go out I seem to get mosquito bites and I can’t stand the smell of spray so I just try to stay inside. Sounds like your Dad was very sweet. XO

  9. Always so fun to visit here. Great answers for the fill in’s. Photos are always so sweet. Hoping all is well with you and yours and you are safe and sound. HAPPY WEEKEND!

  11. Fantastic fill-ins, as always! I’m with you on staying indoors with the a/c on hot and humid days. I can’t wait for autumn and its cool weather. And kitty purrs are the purrfect lullaby! Evan often purrs me to sleep. And I remember when you took sweet Phoebe for walks in her harness dress. What a beautiful angel. Purrs!
