Friendly Fill-Ins Week 267

Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. A memory I have of _____________________ is __________________________.
2. I always complain about __________________.
3. I have a lot in common with _________.
4. Right now I’m _________, but I’d rather be _________.
My answers:
1. A memory I have of my grandfather is him buying heart shaped boxes of chocolate for my gramma, mom, sister and I every year.
2. I always complain about humans. The list is endless, which is why I try to stay home with my cats most of the time. No offense to any readers, I am referring to people that don’t hold doors or say thanks when I hold one. And people driving too close behind me because I drive like an old woman. And on and on.
3. I have a lot in common with my cats. I like to sleep  a lot.
4. Right now I’m fat, but I’d rather be thin. Actually, I don’t need to be thin, but less fat would be nice. 🙂
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.

Here is a flashback of Angel Polar Bear. He loved his toy rat.

  1. Great answers! I couldn’t think of anything specific for #1. My mind was a blank so I was kind of general about it.

Excellent answers for #2-4…I could have wrote any of those except I didn’t think of them 🙂

    Have a great weekend!

  2. Aaah Angel Polar Bear looks a lot like Elza. So beautiful. I also want to complain about humans. Especially those who always want to update everything….

Hope you will have a wonderful weekend!

    1. Actually, my Angel Millie looked even more like your Elza. Have a nice weekend. XO

  3. Meowser Ms. Ellen, have you been snacking on ‘too many treats’ too?!?!?! I, too, am accused of being chubby, but I’m purrfectly happy the purrcise way I am.
Thank you for hosting this blog hop… there is no such thing as ‘too many treats!!!
    Purrseidon

  4. It sounds like your Grandfather was a wonderful man.

Most people just don’t know how to be polite any more, i feel sorry for them.

    Thanks for hosting!

  5. I don’t like to leave the house anymore. 😉 Polar Bear with his great big toy was so cute. ~hugs~ I’m with you on losing some fat. ~sigh~ I rather dread today’s check-up with my doctor.

    1. Thank you. Great minds think alike. I hope your check-up went well. XO

  6. Love your fill-ins and what a wonderful memory about your grandpa.

Unkind people are everywhere anymore. I’m with you.

I have 20 pounds that won’t go away. I’ve had the same 20 pounds for about a decade now. Bugger.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  7. I liked your replies, I always complain about humans too believe me LOL

Aww! what a cute capture of Polar Bear withis his rat heheh!

    Have a ratlesstastic weekend 👍

  8. What wonderful fill-ins, as always! Your answer to #1 is so sweet. And I can really relate to your #2. Some humans, like the rude and ungrateful ones, are just not my cup of tea. And my answer to #3 was sort of similar to yours. I think some of us love kitties so much in part because we have so much in common with them. And wouldn’t it be nice if we could eat whatever we want, not have to exercise, and yet still be in perfect shape? That would be amazing. And thank you for sharing this memory of sweet Polar Bear! I remember you sharing how much he loved his toy rats. He is, was, and always will be so precious. Purrs!

    1. Thank you. 🙂 It would be nice to eat anything and not gain weight. 🙂 XO

    1. Thank you. 🙂 Sorry about the likes, that is odd, I wish I could fix it. XO

  9. Hey Ellen and Kit Kats!!
Here Here to #2, unfortunately the world is full of me-me folks
I hope this post today. It looks like my comments somehow magically post later.
We had 3.8″ of rain from Elsa no wind thank goodnes.
    Hugs cecilia

    1. We got a lot of rain too, but not as much as you. Sorry comments don’t show up right away. XO

  10. My human always says that weight is not the important part, and it’s better to focus on adopting healthy lifestyle choices, like being more active and eating healthy foods MOST of the time (not ALL the time, because that would be boring!). When you have a healthier lifestyle, weight doesn’t matter as much. And while she’s not a fitness expert, she did write about it for years, and got certified as a personal trainer to help her learn more about fitness.

    1. I have been making changes like not eating after supper and no ice cream, but I need to move more. That is cool that she is a personal trainer. XO

  12. Thanks for the fill-ins. Great answers. TW sez don’t get thin the way she has. I love when TW lays in bed with me. I also give her kisses every day when she kisses me. I’ve only bit her lips once or twice.

    1. I am glad you have only bit her lips a couple times. 🙂 I am in no danger of ever being too thin. XO

  14. 1. A memory I have of my father is how he would help us make shoebox buildings and other structures…or if we didn’t have any he would play board games with us. When we were older he taught us how to play chess…I have mostly forgotten how, by now though, LOL!
    2. I always complain about the negative things about my work, but actually I love what I do.
    3. I have a lot in common with many others who love pets and all things about nature.
    4. Right now I’m sitting at my desk, but I’d rather be outside in the garden, but then of course I wouldn’t be visiting all my blogging family!

    1. Thank you for these great answers. It sounds like you had a wonderful father. I am glad you chose blogging over outside- it is too hot and humid. XO
