Friendly Fill-Ins Week 265

Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. My answers:
1. If I were one of the 7 dwarves, I would be Sleepy. I am always tired and end up napping in the afternoon when I try to read.
2. I think television is a good thing when used in moderation. There are a lot of educational shows like Sesame St. and I like to have a little comedy every day.
3. Not giving treats to my niece’s cats and candy to her kids is (are) rules I regularly break. That is why I am a fantastic aunt , but probably would not have been a good mother.
4. I can’t believe Cat Scouts isn’t more popular. It is such a fun place for cat lovers and you don’t even have to have a blog to join.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.

Back in June 2017, Angel Phoebe and her friend Angel Kali were just starting the Crotchety Cougars.
Sadly, only 2 members remain and all the others have gone to The Rainbow Bridge. I crocheted a hat for each member.

  1. Loved your answers. Especially #4. We don’t even know what Cat scouts is. Is Crotchety Cougars still accepting members? Daisy Mae will be 15 Sept 12, 2021. She really wants to join.

    1. Daisy Mae should join Scouts. It is a lot of fun. We are not taking more members, but I guess we could let her slip in- I will start crocheting a hat. 🙂 XO

  3. Great answers and Raz is totally supportive of the TREATS.

    Mom has Angels Ellie and Allie’s hats on the cabinet that she passes all the time. They were proud members of the Crochety Cougars. We miss them a lot.

  5. What great answers Ellen! Kozmo started in Cat scouts way back at the beginning, but alas I just did not have enough hours in the day to do everything. And I loved Crochety Cougars! I’m going to do the fill-ins on Caturday this week.

  7. Great answers, and dad’s right up there with your sleep one, though as much as he’d like to he doesn’t nap until he sits down for dinner. Oh, and dad’s a good one for breaking the treats rule with me when mom’s not looking.

  8. I would love to be a Cat Scout but my mom is past pitiful with graphics…so she couldn’t help me.

  9. We would be good friends because, among other things, both of us would understand if the other said, “naptime!” any time we were together.

    Cat scouts would be fun if i didn’t have to work so i could dedicate some time to it.

  10. SUPER fill-ins…………..! I agree about TV – some good and some awful stuff but we can pretty much rely on PBS for some GREAT stuff!!

    By the time BellaDharma is old enough to join I wonder if anyone will be left….
    Sorry I sound morbid. Timmy Tomcat went to Summerland today. It REALLY hit me hard.

    1. I cried when I heard about Timmy. I had been praying the steroids would buy some time like we had with Prancie.
      We haven’t been adding members to Cougars because we regret starting it because it seemed to jink all the cats in it. XO

    3. Taking calcium every day is a rule that I regularly break. I shouldn’t, but I forget.
    4. I can’t believe talking on the phone isn’t more popular. I miss hearing people’s voices instead of all the texting.

  29. Fantastic fill-ins! Your #3 made me laugh, because I’m the same way with my parents’ kitties. I often give them food that they really don’t need, but I just can’t help myself. Purrs!
