Friendly Fill-Ins Week 261

Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1.  I wish all my cats were as sweet to one another as Rosie is.  Rosie gets along with everyone and all the cats seem to like her, well except maybe Trouble.
2. My plans this weekend include Typhoid Mary’s birthday party and going to the cemeteries to bring flowers to graves of loved ones. Typhoid Mary will be 3 in June, but the party is a week early.
3. It’s hard to believe that 5 months of 2021 are already over.
4. I need to write an 8-10 page short story in order to apply to graduate school. There are 3 MFA programs in Creative Writing I am interested in applying to.  Just a thought right now as they are all expensive. I do want to improve my writing though.

  5. Good filling in! Mom and I think Rosie is a sweetheart – no wonder everyone but Trouble loves her. We think your writing is wonderful BUT we also think it’s great to do things to improve yourself even if you don’t need it (hahaha) – Graduate school would be FUN for you (Mom says).   6. I also wish that all my cats will be nice to each other! Okay, it’s only the two females that bitch at each other. I guess it happens in all of creation!

    8 – 10 pages is quite intensive for a short story. I’m sure you’ll be able to pull it off!

  16. Fleet week the Navy did that at least once here in Cleveland it was fun i wish they would do it again. my answers are up in Feline Friday than hit the home button for som cool music

  27. Such fantastic fill-ins, as always! I kind of wish I had put the same answer you did for #1. My boy Evan gets along with all the cats in the house, and usually ultimately gets along with any cat he meets. He’s been that way since he was a kitten. I wish all my cats were that way, because then I wouldn’t have Eddy mostly staying in my bedroom because she can’t place nicely, especially with Tonks. And I love love love the idea of you getting an MFA in creative writing! That honestly sounds both fun and beneficial. I very often wish I had gotten a degree, or at least a minor, in creative writing. Whether or not you go that route, though, I will always enjoy your writing. Hello to Angel Lucy, and purrs to all of you!

    Sometimes I too get asked why I didn’t go back to school, too…but nope, I didn’t need any extra stress.

    1. I wish my garden area were as pretty as the ones seen in magazine, etc.
    2. My plans this weekend include relaxing, going to church on Sunday, taking some pics of the pups and going to work on Monday. (its my turn to work the holiday, but it would have been my regular Monday to work anyways. But then I will have off on July 4th!)
    3. It’s hard to believe that in July I will have at this work I do for ten years!
    4. I need to lose weight in order to fit into a lot of my summer dresses.

      Sorry you have to work Monday, but glad you get the 4th of July off. Congrats on 10 years at your job! Everyone needs to lose weight since COVID. XO

  34. We had a cat like Rosie named Abbey. She got along with everyone, including Chris. The only exception was Princess but Princess only liked humans and pretty much was Abbey’s opposite.

  37. Rosie sounds like our angel cat, Don Juan. He loved everyone cats, dogs, humans, he was just the most easygoing cat we’ve ever had. ♥
