Friendly Fill-Ins Week 251

Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. I look forward to ____________________________ every spring.
2. The highlight of my week was __________________.
3. I think _________ is the word that best describes me.
4. Nothing melts my heart like _________.
My answers:
1. I look forward to picking pussy willows every spring.
2. The highlight of my week was finding out Resident Alien was renewed for season 2. Normally, it is spending time with The Great One , but her Dad tested positive for COVID ( no symptoms thankfully) so they are in quarantine. My vaccine takes 2 weeks to build up so I can’t go over .
3. I think quirky is the word that best describes me.
4. Nothing melts my heart like a kitty.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.

For our flashback, here is Angel Lucy in 2015 at our annual Catburry Bunny auditions. Stay tuned this Sunday for part one of this year’s auditions.

  6. Regarding your #1 answer, dad says he still remembers growing up in western Massachusetts, going out in the woods and picking tons and tons of pussy willows. He said he remembers his mom coloring some with chalk or pastels or something. Pussy Willows and cattails were all over the place where he lived.

  7. OH Lucy, how pretty and sweet you look as the Easter Bunny. Mom will answer the fill-ins.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  9. Oh, dear sorry to hear about The Great One’s dad. How on earth did he know to get tested? Had he been exposed to someone with Covid? I hope no one in the family comes down with the virus. It could be his reading is a false positive which isn’t uncommon. DD#1 was tested this week but came back negative. The doctor said, she only has a cold and allergies which is good news. Have a good weekend, Ellen! xx

    1. Their 2 yr old was vomiting so they all got tested and he was the only positive. They retested yesterday and are all negative. Glad your daughter is OK. Have a good weekend. XO

  10. Love the photo and great answers, quirky is good! So sorry to hear about the Great One’s Dad, though. Many purrs and meows for fast recovery. XO

  12. Oh no! I know how much you were looking forward to finally getting to see the Great One! I just hope everyone stays healthy.
I can’t remember the last time I picked pussy willows. I don’t know where they grow around here, I haven’t even seen any in a long time!

  13. Chaplin: “Mama and Dada have been watching ‘Resident Alien’ here, too.”
Charlee: “We don’t really understand it all but it reminds us of a situation Dennis would have gotten himself into, so that’s all right.”
Chaplin: “We hope the Great One’s Dad recovers well from COVID, with no symptoms!”
Charlee: “Yes and we are sending purrs that no one else catches it.”
Lulu: “And I send fluffy tail wags!”

  14. Fantastic fill-ins, though I’m sorry The Great One’s dad tested positive for covid. I hope he’s all clear of that soon, that everyone stays healthy, and that you get to see them all again soon! And, I completely agree with your #4, of course!
