Friendly Fill-Ins Week 249

Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. Nothing is better than ____________________.

2. I ___________my ________________in ____________________.
3. _________ makes me feel energized.
4. I would advise others to _________.
My answers:
1. Nothing is better than waking up with Sammy on my pillows,  Joanie cuddling between my hubby and I and Emmy at my feet.
2. I store my chocolate in the refrigerator. I think it tastes better when cold.
3. Nothing makes me feel energized. I am practically a sloth.
4. I would advise others to do what makes them happy as long as it doesn’t cause harm to anyone.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.

Here is a flashback photo of my Angel Lucy from March 2015. I can’t believe she left me 6 months later.

  1. Angel Lucy sure had those deep thoughtful eyes…a wise lady-cat!

A sloth?? Nah, you are too dedicated to your kitties and crafts and time with your family.

    1. Nothing is better than getting all my chores done on time so I can ‘visit’ all my blogging friends.

    2. I keep my iPad in use while I am at my computer, so I can listen to all kinds of good music through the blue tooth speakers while I do my computer stuff.I keep it in my work bag, too so that if someone else is using the computer in the break room, I can still check my email, etc. (I do not have a smart phone…)

    3. Beautiful not too cold/hot sunny weather along with my fave music makes me feel energized. So does the knowledge of upcoming fun events to prepare for…like vacations, or family coming to visit. Hot weather has the very opposite effect…

    4. I would advise others to always take time to think about the blessings they have even amidst unfavorable circumstances. And to stay patient…and to not jump to conclusions until you know all the details!

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I agree with #4, we all have something to be thankful for. Glad you can listen to music with using your computer. XO

  2. Great fill ins! It really is a good feeling with the kitties cuddling, isn’t it? Angel Lucy was beautiful. Great photo. Have a great weekend!

  3. Sweet photo of Angel Lucy. I keep my chocolate in the fridge too. I dislike the greasy way it coats my mouth if it isn’t properly chilled.

  4. Angel Lucy was such a beautiful girl. They never stay long enough.

Love your fill-ins. I like what you did with #2. I drew a complete blank on that one.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to the kitties. ♥

  5. Lucy looks so content. ~hugs~ I like your fill-ins a lot. I actually like putting Reece’s peanut butter cups in the freezer. 🙂 Yum!

  6. My hubby likes his chocolate cold too! I like chocolate any way and any time. I like your #4 answer and that is a sweet pic of Angel Lucy!

  7. I liked your replies had to laugh at sloth haha!

Aww! lovely photo of Angel Lucy bless her, I am sure you have so many fond memories 🙂

Have a slothtastic safe weekend 😷😷😷

  8. Ellen, I have some sloth going on! Awww, your kitties cuddling with you. Great Fill-Ins! Here are my Fill-Ins for this Friday…
    1. Nothing is better than homemade noodles!
    2. I like having all my ducks in row. Hardly ever happens that way and I should learn to be more flexible.
    3. Riding my RED bike makes me feel energized.
    4. I would advise others to be kind.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I understand wanting your ducks in a row. You ride your bike so you are not a sloth. 🙂 XO

  9. I love your photo of Lucy! She was gorgeous! I wish all the cats would sleep on the bed with me, instead of cat wars. Maybe…someday…And about chocolate, I keep mine in the freezer but I like it room temperature before I eat it. But then Canadian Chocolate is differently made than American too.

  10. Mom likes her chocolate refrigerated too – she says the melting lasts longer in her mouth:)

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  11. Charlee: “Our Dada says he stores his chocolate in the freezer! He especially loves frozen peanut butter cups, apparently.”
Chaplin: “But we gather freezing chocolate doesn’t work out so well when the chocolate has caramel in it. Something about becoming too hard for his teeth.”
Lulu: “Pfft. I could crunch up frozen caramel, no problem.”
Charlee: “Except that Dada would never give you frozen chocolate.”
    Lulu: “Okay, one problem.”

  12. I was listening to a radio program, where folks were saying their homes are as clean as they’ve ever been, because of the pandemic.
Not around here! I’m pretty darn lazy, which is why cats are so wonderful…they are lazy too!

  13. You must have SOME energy – taking care of all your cats would require some I would think! 🙂
