Friendly Fill-Ins Week 236

Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you.

1. I am going to give _________________ a _________________ for Christmas.

2. I sleep _________________hours a night.

3. My home is decorated with _________.
4. _________ makes me feel festive.
My answers:
1.  I am going to give my hubby a mushroom growing kit and a mushroom book for Christmas. I also ordered a cute shirt from Kohl’s that looks looks like Brody in a Star Trek uniform. I was hoping it would have arrived by now to show you a photo.
2. I sleep about 8 hours a night.
3 My home is decorated with cat art and photos of loved ones. We still need to decorate for Christmas.
4. Christmas music makes me feel festive.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.

This Sunday we will be showing our letters to Santa. These are from 2015. Angel Phoebe was very worried that one of Santa’s reindeer would run Grammie over and as you know she loved her Grammie so very much. And Angel Stinky asked Santa for a new name.

  1. That is a sweet flashback photo.
I envy you your 8 hours of sleep. When I was on my previous meds I was lucky to get an hour a night and was a nightmare to live with. Now I get 3-4 hours and can manage with that.

  2. Adorable flashback….letters to Santa are important! I’m surprised you haven’t decorated your house yet – you’re a world champion decorator!!!

    Hugs, Pam (and Teddy too)

    1. Thank you. 🙂 I am having a tough time getting motivated knowing we aren’t having a party. XO

  3. Mushroom growing sounds like quite a good hobby if you like mushrooms. Like you, the Christmas music makes me feel very festive, we actually turn on a Christmas music stream all year long on our Thursday work days. It’s just so cheerful.

  4. A mushroom growing kit sounds like great fun! I am excited about the letters to Santa. I am pretty sure I remember about Phoebe being worried about Grammie. I am with you on #4! My Fill-Ins ~>
    1. I am going to give SSNS a bread machine for Christmas.
    2. I sleep 7 hours a night. That’s if you count the three hours I sleep on the couch after I get bored with whatever SSNS is watching and then the 1 to 5 oh clock time frame of regular sleep.
    3. My home is decorated with a coastal thing going on.
    4. Listening to Christmas music makes me feel festive.
    Thank you for the Fill-Ins!

    1. Thank you. 🙂 And thank you for your answers I enjoyed them. That is a great gift and you can benefit from fresh bread too. 🙂 XO

  5. I didn’t get the questions about decorations. I thought of Christmas. Bugger. Love your answers and love the angels.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins. I always enjoy participating.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Ellen. Big hug to you and scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  6. Fun answers! I enjoy holiday music. Really puts you in the mood, and it’s so cheerful. Loved seeing photos of your angel babies! xo

  7. Great fill ins. I’m trying to get 8 hours a sleep each night but for some reason, it never works out that way. I hope you have a great weekend!

    Hugs Cecilia

  10. I’m glad you get plenty of sleep. ~hugs~ And yes, losing Grammie would be bad but Stinky had a very cute name regardless of the origin. 🙂

  11. 1. I am going to give myself a decorative tree for Christmas because I don’t usually usually do that.

    2. I sleep 8 hours a night, but I am often in bed for 12 to get that.

    3. My home is decorated with post-modern eclectic clutter.

    4. Catnipped kitties make me feel festive.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I am glad you are going to get a decorative tree. Catnipped kitties are fun to watch. XO

  12. I’ve mentioned more than once that I think The Hubby would enjoy growing mushrooms, but he hasn’t bitten yet. Perhaps I should buy a kit and surprise him with it.

  13. Eight hours of sleep is ideal! I sleep about 6 or 7 hours during weekday and 12 to 14 hours (or more if schedule allows!) during weekend 🙂
Mushroom growing kit sounds like fun! I bet your husband will love it and the book!
    Have a great weekend xo

  14. That is how our house is decorated when it isn’t the holidays. Bet most people had the same fill-in for #4. We happen to think Stinky is a terrific name. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  15. Great Fill Ins! We did not do ours as when we sat down to blog last evening, we discovered our Thursday blog did not publish! So we published it! SO I will answer the Fill ins here:
    1. I am going to give Marv, Jo Jo, Kozmo and Cinnamon a feast for Christmas.
    2. I sleep 7-8 hours a night.
    3. My home is decorated with nothing right now, but in a week we will have our decorations up!
    4. All the lights decorating the village makes me feel festive.
And we lover the letters to santa! We can’t wait for this years!
    Purrs
Marv, Jo Jo, Kozmo, Cinnamon and Barb

    1. Thank you for your answers, I enjoyed them. Glad you are going to spoil the furbabies. We haven’t decorated yet either. XO

  16. 1. I am going to give white elephant gifts to my three menfolk, but I will hide gift cards with them, for Christmas.

    2. I sleep anywhere from 6 to 9 hours a night.

    3. My home is decorated with dog fur and all the junk that goes with having a recuperating patient in the home:) But I will try to put out some smaller things, to avoid too much clutter. Things that can go on the shelves or the walls, and I have some nice mats that I can place on the backs of the couches we have..
    4. Hearing beautiful traditional Christmas music and enjoying the seasonal decor makes me feel festive.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I know about patients recuperating at home, in 2013, my mom and hubby had surgery a week apart and I took care of both. XO

  17. Fantastic fill-ins! Given the prolific garden you and your husband keep, I bet he will be a master at growing mushrooms. What a fun and thoughtful gift!
