Friendly Fill-Ins Week 230

Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you.

1. I might______________________.
2. I want to ________________________ before fall is over.
3. If my house were haunted, _________.
4. _________ is the scariest thing that’s ever happened to me.
My answers:
1. I might give disc gold a try soon.
2. I want to go metal detecting before fall is over.
3. If my house were haunted, I doubt I would notice. I lived in an old house growing up and my mom, dad and sister all thought there was a ghost, but I never had anything unusual happen to me.
4. Almost losing my mom and my hubby are tied for scariest things that ever happened to me. My hubby had a burst appendix in 1999 and my mom had a health scare in 2013.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.

Back in 2014, Angel Prancie was Goldilocks for Halloween and Angel Phoebe was Rapunzel.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. Sorry your hubby is going to be hurting for a while. Glad you got through your car wrecks. XO

  2. WOW those are two very scary things indeed. So glad that they are behind you now! Love Halloween costumes you come up with for the crew there every year. They seem to be pretty tolerant of playing “dress up” !!! Thanks for hosting fill-ins…….we love it every week!

    Hugs, Teddy

  3. Good morning Ellen
I had a giggle about the house being haunted. Angel Madi could easily get a rise out of me concerning a potential ghosts. Often she would be asleep, stand still, fur puffed up, tail in a tizzy and eyes wide…then her head would turn back and forth, look up a the ceiling fan that was not on then take off like she saw a ghost. Then as quickly as this started she would return to her spot go to sleep.

    Hugs Cecilia

  4. I love your fill-ins, but not the almost losing two precious people. That is scary.

Your two angels were all decked out for Halloween. Adorable.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

  5. Ms. Ellen, thank you for hosting this blog hop… I’m baffled – what is disc gold? Is it something yummy?

    1. I’m thinking disk ‘golf’. Is that correct? My brother and his son came here to play a local course years ago. 🙂 And your sweet kitties looked so adorable, as always.

  6. Your #4 is very scary and I am thankful that you have your Mom and Hubby in your life today.
Angel Prancie and Angel Phoebe are a treat today!

  7. Hope you get the metal-detect soon!
Sweetie would make quick work of the Rapunzel wig; anything that dangles means it’s a toy for her…including my pajama ties, the strings on my new hoodie, and even my earbud wires!

  8. Goldilocks and Rapunzel are super cute, Ellen💗That were some impurressive answers. Grandpaw wants to have a metal detector too😸Glad all went well with your hubby and mom. that was really scary🙀Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend🐾😽💞

  9. I want to cut back my rambling rose. We have had so much rain that the flowers are waterlogged and going over more quickly than usual. It looks a mess!
Those are sweet Halloween flashbacks of your Angels.

  10. What’s disc gold or maybe I’ll google it. The fill-ins have become the highlight of TW’s week. Sad. Glad you still have hubby and mom.

  11. I’m so glad everything turned out well with your hubby and your mom. That sounds frightening! And I love those photos of your angels. Such joyful memories for you. xo

  12. I always look forward to your fill-ins. I haven’t gone metal detecting since I was a kid, but I remember it being a lot of fun. And your answers in #4 sound like such scary events to live through. I’m so glad your husband and mom are both well! And angels Prancie and Phoebe are the prettiest fairy tale ladies!
