Friendly Fill-Ins Week 220

Hi everyone! Power is back on-finally. It was out for 65 hours. I shouldn’t complain, it is a minor inconvenience in the big scheme of things.

Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you.

1. One word to describe my week is __________________.
2. My biggest success has been _________________.
3. Not to brag, but I _________.
4. For me, _________ is the meaning of life.
My answers:
1. One word to describe my week is powerless.
2. My biggest success has been a happy marriage- almost 28 years.
3. Not to brag, but I have a nice collection of potato heads.
4. For me , saving as many cats as possible is the meaning of life.
We are joining Athena’s Caturday Art Blog Hop and The Pet Parade I used Faceinhole to make Rosie’s photo into a Wanted Poster.
There is a puzzle too.

  1. Those were some great answers! 28 years being married is amazing. Hopefully some day we will be able to say that, too. 🙂

  2. Glad you got your power back on, powerless is a real pain! You have a wonderful marriage together:)
Since its very late, or early depending on your pint of view, I will pass on the fill ins this week…and Benji had another ‘bug’ not seen the first time. SDO another 10 days of meds…he still isn’t eating very well, though the junk food appeals to him.Sheesh, I think I created a food monster…

And I will do the puzzle later:)

    Enjoy your Saturday!.

    1. Thank you. Poor Benji. I guess treats are at least calories. I hope he is better soon. XO

  3. I am glad yo have your power back after all that time.
There will be a rush of cats wanting to turn Rosie in for that reward. Think how many treats they can get.

  4. WOW that’s a very long time to be without power…….I hope you can get your own generator fixed SOON so you don’t have to worry about that again!!!!! Love your potato head collection – very impressive.

    Hugs, Pam

  5. Mommy here hasn’t seen potato heads in a long while. Makes her want to get one.
Mom said she wishes she could have a generator but the maintenance of one is not for her…she’s pitiful.

    1. Walmart $5 on the Potato head 🙂 I bet your sons could help you with maintenance on the generator > XO

  6. I’m glad your power is back on. What a relief. I missed seeing a post from you yesterday. We depend on so many things in our lives. Love all your fill-ins as always. You are a great cat mom.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

Have a fabulous weekend. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  7. Great news, Ellen! 28 years is to be commended and it’s nice to have electricity these days. Hugs to the kitties and the potato head family. xo

  8. That is a long time to go without power. I guess we are spoiled because I almost can’t imagine living like all our ancestors throughout history lived.

  9. We loved your answers and artwork but we all think here Rosie shouldn’t be arrested. President Daisy Mae has already said Rosie will be fully pardoned if arrested MOL.

  10. I’m glad you have your power back after losing for so many hours. You have a fantastic collection of potato heads 🙂
Love Rosie’s Wanted poster. So cute and funny 🙂

  11. I’d glad you got power back. There are homes here that won’t get it back until Monday!! I would have expected Trouble in the wanted poster. MOL!

  12. I put a like on this but didn’t leave my comment? I must have been distracted yesterday! I am so happy your power is back on. Your #4 is a most wonderful thing. I get a kick out of the Potato Heads… Gremmie and Alf, too. 28 years of happily married is awesome!

    1. It was a tough 3 days. It would have been worse without a generator. Glad you like the potato heads. XO

  14. Your fill-ins are absolutely fantastic! I feel so bad that you had such a powerless week, but I’m glad your power is now back on. And I really love how you answered #4. I feel like rescuing cats and dogs is also one of the meanings of my life. It’s such a rewarding thing to do! Purrs!
