Friendly Fill-Ins Week 219

Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link ( see below) to the hop so everyone can visit you.

1. If you want ________________, you have to __________________.
2. During the month of  August, I plan to _________________.
3. Others might think it’s strange that I _________.
4. _________ seems so far away
My answers:
1. If you want to accomplish something, you have to start now. Don’t wait for the right conditions because the chance may pass you by.
2. During the month of August, I plan to rewatch all 6 seasons of The Black List. We actually already started.
3. Others might thinks it’s strange that I have 10 cats. I don’t care though, I am happy.
4. Pre Covid times seem so far away.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.
Here is a flashback of Angel Millie from August 2015- he loved da bird toy.

  1. Mom and Dad love The Blacklist too. Every episode is so intriguing. Jim Spader is wonderful, so says Mom.

You are so right about pre-Covid days. When will we ever get back there again?

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  2. Awww,so cute of Angel Millie! Having many cats makes everything interesting! A home with no animals would seem strange to me. XO

  3. 1. If you want peace and harmony with others, you have to respect them and help them be, whom they were meant to be…
    2. During the month of August, I plan to rejoice greatly since hubby will be going back to his work..
    3. Others might think it’s strange that I continue to keep at my job even though I am of retirement age.
    4. Canada and my family seem so far away at this time in our lives…I sure wish for ‘the Good Old Days’…sigh…

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I agree with #1 and I am glad your hubby has his job back. The place you work is lucky to have such a dedicated employee-those are hard to find. XO

  4. My Human says she agrees a million percent with #4–and we bet it is going to be the most common answer, too.

  5. What GREAT fill-ins……………I’m sure your ten cats are very happy that you love having a crowd of kitties. They always have company or someone to “talk” to and snuggle with including their humans! Love that flashback of Angel Millie.

    Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam

  6. Aww..such a sweet picture of an Angel💗Great answers on the fill-ins, Ellen, the first one is so true. Granny wished she had 10 kitties too, I think she would have if I was a little bit more social with kitties😸Pawkisses for a wonderful weekend to all of you🐾😽💞

  7. There is nothing strange about having 10 cats. At one time we had 14 cats, and if circumstances were different we would still have cats.
That is a sweet flashback of Angel Millie.

    1. Thank you 🙂 I had 15 when the blog started and I wish I could again, but as they age, vet bills and meds are too expensive. XO

  8. I 100% agree the right time is NOW!~!
Hugs to kit kats and the humans too

  9. What a great shot of Angel Millie. Da bird is a fun thing for most kitties.

I love all your fill-ins and especially #1. It’s spot on.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins. Such fun.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  10. Meowser Ms. Ellen, thank you for hosting this blog hop. I’m starting to wonder how much longer fake science (that odious Dr. Falsi) is going to act/talk like that China bug is still a threat…. As per the CDC, the peak was back in April, which makes sense in light of the 15 day shutdown… deaths have been declining for months, though you wouldn’t realize that listening to Falsi’s fake science or the fake news.

    1. Thank you 🙂 I wish I knew what to believe, watching the news does make me nervous. XO

  11. Awww… He was so cute. My girls enjoyed da bird back in their youth. 🙂 I hope we get to enjoy a post-pandemic. ~sigh~ Hang in there, my dear, and stay safe.

  12. Great answers! I love The Blacklist. Your #1 is so right. How can having 10 cats be strange? It sounds fine to me. Have a great weekend!

  13. Great answers. As you might have guessed, we never heard of that show. TW is hoping she can look forward to baseball all month but too many players testing positive. I wish we had a leader in the White House who would have taken this pandemic seriously from the start.

    1. Thank you 🙂 I keep thinking they will close down soon with all those covid cases- I hope they keep playing for TW even though I am so tortured with my hubby watching it. XO

  14. That’s a great action shot! Da Bird is loved here too. And we totally agree with your #4!

    1. I highly recommend it. At the end of every season, you will have more questions.

  15. I MISS YOU!! Thank you for your letter; answer coming soon. Things have been very messy here. I may start blogging again, under a new name. It has been hard. But…what doesn’t kill me, makes me stronger. HUGS!!

    1. SO nice to hear from you. I was just thinking about you today. I miss you too. XO

  16. I feel the same way about #4 Millie♥
So true about starting right now… it’s never too late.
    My Fill-Ins~
    1. If you want to get away from heat and humidity and have no snow, you have to move where?
    2. During the month of August, I plan to endure (and whine about) more heat and humidity. ugh.
    3. Others might think it’s strange that I live in Florida. I have to wonder about that choice fairly often.
    4. The happiness of life before Covid seems so far away.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I can’t think of anyplace that has no summer humidity. I whine all summer too, but NEVER complain in the winter, I like it cold. Have a nice weekend. XO

      1. I can see that it would be, particularly because being down to 10 means there have been some losses. And those rip our hearts out.

  17. Fantastic fill-ins, as always! I completely agree with you on #1. It’s so true that to accomplish what you want in life, you can’t keep postponing it. And I think it’s wonderful that you have 10 cats. They’re all loved and happy, and they’re so blessed to have you. And it’s wonderful to see this flashback of Angel Millie enjoying his beloved bird toy! Purrs!
